My very first attempt at Infrared Photography. THANKS JEFF!!! ;) A word of caution if anyone considers buying this in a larger format, it seems that Noise is an inherent artifact of IR Photography and as such the photo is very grainy. I didn’t know about this till I took these test shots and discovered it myself. I will work on ways to make these as presentable as I can for sale, but as far as I can tell at this stage, this is how IR Photography is. If anyone knows any different please email me and help me out ;) I will be emailing you about this Jeff, just been a bit busy. :) A Full Size sample of the noise. Is this normal?? I’m not sure. /

RB is my first image webpage. Since I’m here I received many encouragements and learned a lot. Many thanks, RB members! So I want to be more serious about photography, and will also try other styles. This one is shot in digital.

Taking a short walk in the hills just out of the village Libverda Spa (Lazne Libverda), I was fascinated by the wind playing with snow, and by the dark leafless trees contrasting with the snowy tracks on the road. February 2002. Canon EOS 500N, Sigma 28-135. Post-processing: retouch, levels, convert to BW, sharpening, crop. This is the same locality where I made the photograph Landscape around Libverda Spa, Czech Republic five and half years later:
What did that famous fashion designer say? - / Canon EOS 400d – Tamron 18-250
Not tired of snow shots … yet! I love the way the road winds around the trees. There is a joke (or perhaps they were serious) that I heard years and years ago about how the roads in Pennslyvania were made. Since there are many hills and mountains and rivers and creeks, the people were not sure where or how to place the roads. So they left a jackass loose and wherever he ran … they made a road! Could be true! :) —Judi 2009
“Windmills of My Mind” Photography & Artwork / by Holly Kempe © “Like a circle in a spiral / Like a wheel within a wheel / Never ending or beginning, / On an ever spinning wheel / As the images unwind / Like the circle that you find / In the windmills of your mind” / ~ Alan Bergman
This Japanese Maple is one of my favorite things. It looks so beautiful in the spring while the leaves are so red. Then they turn mostly green and red again for fall. What a treasure. The wind was blowing and created a blur that looks like fog!

I’m sure that in the next few days and weeks many people will be putting up their tribute and “in rememberance” works in honour of the late Patrick Swayze. And, perhaps, my idea isn’t all that unique, but it is heartfelt, and it is unique in that it is my special tree and me as the wind. Rest in Peace, PS. She’s Like The Wind – by Patrick Swayze She’s like the wind through my tree / She rides the night next to me / She leads me through moonlight / Only to burn me with the sun / She’s taken my heart / But she doesn’t know what she’s done Feel her breath on my face / Her body close to me / Can’t look in her eyes / She’s out of my league / Just a fool to believe / I have anything she needs / She’s like the wind I look in the mirror and all I see / Is a young old man with only a dream / Am I just fooling myself / That she’ll stop the pain / Living without her / I’d go insane Feel her breath on my face / Her body close to me / Can’t look in her eyes / She’s out of my league / Just a fool to believe / I have anything she needs / She’s like the wind Feel your breath on my face / Your body close to me / Can’t look in your eyes / You’re out of my league / Just a fool to believe / (Just a fool to believe) / She’s like the wind / (Just a fool to believe) / Just a fool to believe / (She’s like the wind) / Just a fool to believe / (Just a fool to believe) / She’s like the wind / (Just a fool to believe) / Just a fool to believe / She’s like the wind (Just a fool…) / (She’s like the wind) / (She’s like the wind) / (Just a fool…) / (She’s like the wind) / (Just a fool…)
