Emotions Resist them, and they will destroy you. / Wallow in them, and they will drown you…. / BEcome them and they will rule you. Yet these are the radio waves between the inner core of your being and the All There Is…a link between your knowing and not knowing…… an elusive clue to your many questions. Acknowledge them and they will speak to you. / Feel them, and they will guide you… / Honour them, and they will reveal the deepest truths of your existence.
This old tree stands on top a gnarly peak on the far east border of Glassier National Park where the long and great plans suddenly and somewhat unexpectedly jump up in a shear wall of stone. It was not alone but stood with the corpses of many other trees who for some reason or other had ceased being able to live in the hostile environment that had given them birth and carved their living flesh into such masterpieces of wood. This one, though, this one was different. It was bigger and more warped and had lived far longer then any of its brethren or children that lay scatted about, and something in the way the silver wood gleamed, something in the way that it reached so far, forever seeking shelter from the wind, left me standing in awe.

“Wind break” is about reducing the landscape down to its barest essentials, so that the focus is on the hills, the trees and their shadows. / The trees are overlapped to give the impression that there are more trees than there actually are. The reason I made them seem to float above the ground is because these types of trees are not indigenous to the surrounding landscape. They don’t really belong. / The hills themselves are smooth and bereft of incidental details, reminiscent of the drought affected grasslands commonly found in pastoral farmlands. PLEASE VIEW LARGE This is one of the most peaceful shots I took. Thus the illusive and loving Wendy Slee has been called by these very leaves to meet them. / Note: within minuets of the viewing Wendy channeled this poem and I knew then when you follow how you feel all becomes like a bright light of Love. I mean this shot literally called Wendy to them (leaves). She is a treasure to connect with.. Much Love and Appreciation Wendy.. Breeze of Existence / By: Wendy Slee 2008 Then as if through deep forests, / With their breath held waiting / Comes a stirring, a movement, anticipating… / Leaves awaken, heart quickens, limbs lift and extend / To receive the cool caress of a long welcome friend. / And you are here, / You the wind, / It is you that I know, / Yet know not where you come from, nor where you will go. / A free spirit you pass by me, / Yet somehow remain, / Swirling around me and through me, / Easing the pain… I ache to just hold you, keep you here for all time / But I can’t catch the wind / Cannot grasp what’s not mine…. / If I close my fingers, I’ll hold nothing but air… / If I reach out to possess you, it’s myself I’ll ensnare… / So I stand in your path, feel your breath on my face / And just bask in your spirit / As it moves through my space… / In the silence of your passing, the emptiness wake, / There’s a stillness that echoes with all you evoked / The power and beauty of the zephyr flies free / But your essence and magic has become part of me..
Model: The Beautiful TextureoftheSin Whispers In The Wind – Dan Fogelburg Like a wraith she ambles aimlessly / Through the mists along the shore / She wraps the foggy night around her / Like a warming shawl / And leaves wildflowers at my door / She comes to me when she needs company / And weaves her web around my soul / She comes to me to free those wild, / Burning, passion fires / That she cannot control / And by the morning light I know / That she’ll be gone / And then the lonely hours begin / And all she leaves behind / To find her in the dawn / Are whispers in the wind / And in the flicker of the candlelight / She takes comfort in my touch / And then she pulls away and leaves / Before the candles die / Or before she feels too much / And by the morning light I know / That she’ll be gone / And then the lonely hours begin / And all she leaves behind / To find her in the dawn / Are whispers in the wind

El Chalten, Argentina ! National Park Los Glaciales !
The sky is filled with windswept clouds behind an old weathered tree.
Many many images edited in CS3…lots of detail so look closely…:)....the little girl is my youngest dressed up as Dorthy (she is a big fan :) )....this was a shared project with her…she chose the theme and where things would go and what was added…..she really enjoys watching me work in photoshop and many times lends her thoughts on my images…sometimes I listen….like her though sometimes I am stubborn and do it my way :) lol
This was taken at Swansea, Newcastle NSW, Australia. The water around this place is absolutley amazing – the most beautiful blues I have ever seen…unfortunately not so good for capturing in IR…but I managed to get the sky to turn out like the colour of the water. Honestly, that’s the colour of the water. / / / / / / / / / / /
