This image came about in an awesome way for me. Two weeks earlier, the model, Margrit, was telling me a bit about her life. She’s lived and travelled in many countries and taken lots of opportunities. She has also achieved great success with her photography. Several weeks later, I had an unusual chance to photograph her in an old train – the perfect location to reflect her life’s journey. / In Australia, Margrit has achieved her LAPS and AAPS, and is the only West Australian women to received international photographic honours AFIAP. She’s a perfectionist and it shines through in her work. Visit Margrit’s website For enquires about canvas prints, or photographic prints larger than Redbubble options, please contact me via bubblemail
I usually only upload one image per week, however, i’m in transit at the moment and only have limited connection time…

Cartagena de India, Colombia ! / / .
I took this picture in Helsingborg, Sweden. What caught my attention was the angle and the beautiful colours. I’m a big fan of perspectives so I had to switch on my camera. check what the product looks like here thank you for stopping by!

This is one of the main temples in Vang Vien, Laos. The temple buildings are beautifully ornate and the surrounding garden is peaceful. On this day however, a number of the monks were busy conducting repairs on the building and, the younger ones especially, were scouting in and out of the windows and up and down the ladder as part of their work. They held a group of us captivated, cameras in hand, with their cheeky expression and playful teasing. I loved the strong contrast of the orange robe against the pink building – I think the colours capture the playfulness of the atmosphere even more than the monk’s expression in this case.

A collection of windows in Europe taken in Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, England and Belgium.
A typical Venetian window, this one I loved with the Bottle bottom look stained glass. The Shutters and glass is close to true colour. I brightened up the wall colour, the original was a little more washed out.

Shadow of a lamp on a tipical mediterranean pastel wall.
This was taken during last years trip to Croatia. / I took it whilst walking around the city walls of Dubrovnik. / Amazing to see the original roof tiles. / I wondered as I looked at the windows about what sort of person lives there….surrounded by tourists constantly looking in. / Magical.
