Believe it or not. I actually took this picture with my little sony camera (back when I had money) through the car window as we were driving on the interstate. I cropped it to take out a bit of the road but didn’t touch the color. It’s was amazingly beautiful!
Just out side of Paradise California, yes there is such a place ,but it really isn’t. Shot this with my 4×5 view at f 64 for 60 secs.

Ocean with sandy beach and wooden fence
There was this long stretched wooden fence along a dirt road, looking as though it was protecting the vast forests from “human intruders” – people were “locked in” with their highways and their houses while the forests were “out there” enjoying their life with animals. :) :) :)
I saw these wonderful log houses along a dirt road in Golden Lake (Ontario, Canada).
This is one of my favorite farms houses.
Wilno is Canada’s first Polish settlement. They call the region “God’s Country” because of its rolling hills, vast forests and wonderful streams, rivers and lakes. You feel as though you were closer or “with” God when you are there. :) This is a sunrise in “God’s Country”.
In the middle of nowhere deep in the woods, there was this huge barn/farm house – I thought River and I could live there in order to be among our friends the wolves. :)
I thought this was really pretty just under the first ray of morning light. :)
I couldn’t quite figure out who the fence was protecting – the bird house? :)
My forecaster said that there will be more snow on Wednesday so I’m preparing myself for it “emotionally” right now. :)
These are the barns I wouldn’t mind living in…. :)
River and I came upon these working barns right after the sun was up. The cows were still asleep. River tiptoed around, didn’t want to wake them up. :)
River and I ran into this little shed in the spring along the old highway 512 in Renfrew county (Ontario, Canada) and we both thought that we could stay there over night. :)
When I needed to think about a difficult session with a patient of mine, I would sit on this swing that Clark originally made for his granddaughter and meditate. After a while a kind of clarity would occur and I’d “see” something I had not seen before. I have named this my “thinking swing”. :)
A winter walk near Cadca, Slovakia.
A walk near Cadca, Slovakia. HDR: Bracketed exposure + Canon DPP + Photomatix + Photoshop Info for the YOUR FAVORITE COUNTRY ROAD challenge: / - I don’t have to walk too far to get there. / - It leads to several of my favourite hiking and photography places. / - You can walk it, bike it, get chased by a herd of cows or deer or hit by a car (surprisingly mostly 2WD) when the local folk living in the woods and nearby villages use it as a shortcut – guess this pretty much makes it the country road for me :-)
This is my freshly picked rhubarb pile before they are made into rhubarb and blackberry jam. :)

Liffey Falls is collectively a series of four cascades and resides in the cool temperate rainforests of the Great Western Tiers near Deloraine between Devonport and Launceston in Tasmania
Cedar trees line the shores of a peaceful backwater. This image was captured in Ferris Provincial Park on the Trent River, just below Ranney Falls outside of Campbellford, Ontario, Canada.
