I spotted this Graffiti Monster on the side of the road while cruising the streets of San Fransisco. He seemed to be begging me to photograph him…so I did. My partner calls him “Handy” because of his one hand, so the name just sort of stuck. A window of Rudruv mlyn, a watermill in Ratiborice, Czech Republic. Ratiborice Chateau and its surroundings (including the mill, the Old Bleachery and the weir) served as a setting for The Grandmother, the most famous novel of the 19th-century Czech writer Božena Němcová.
