  • / A few leaves drifted down today, reminding me that fall is just around the corner…I was standing in the garden, looking up through the dappled leaves to the sky above, hardly able to see as the sun shone so brightly, thinking how fast summer goes and how long winter lasts…but leaves when they finally land, get trapped and become one with the soil that feeds my garden… / I am busy working on another portrait, but stopped to paint that vision of light that made a halo around the leaves as they fell…the view is as if you are underneath the leaves as they fall.
