  • About an hour before sunrise on a winter trip down the Great Ocean road. The pre-dawn glow and moonlight illuminates a now some what more crumbled Victorian icon.

  • The classic shot, good light this night – last shot of the evening, way after sunset. Never leave early no matter how hopeless you think the light might be.

  • Mist drifts through the ghostly shapes of the snow gums frame the delicate pink alpine flowers.

  • 40km round trip walking, 3 days waiting – One image. The quiet little patch of beach that is Little Waterloo Bay isn’t the worst space I’ve had to wait for the light !

  • A happy mistake, a daylight savings miscalculation saw me up many hours before sunrise – I shot this image in the twilight with a 4 min exposure.

  • “An age apart, / Married with moss, / The guardians of the wood / Hold silent court.” – pinkelephant

  • Tenders at rest in the pale pre dawn glow. One of subjects I love to shoot most at Queenscliff, finally after many trips and years I feel like I got ‘it’ this time.

  • With a colourful background, simple masking with black and white was done to create the transition effect. A picture of many comparison eg vertical vs horizontal, man vs woman, color vs black and white, motion vs stationary etc..

  • An image captured at sunset on Phillip Island and enhnaced in Photoshop!

  • Captured along my travels, a part of Victoria that just keeps growing. This is my kind of landscape, I feel at home amongst the concrete and steel. Used an 11 – 17mm with the perspective corrected. This is another from the Transitional Industrial Utopia series. / / Check out this awesome rendition of this image by the wonderful Rose Moxon / / / . / / Art Folders… / / Entire Portfolio / Born From This Earth – Series / Hearts At War / Vehicular works / Architecture / Travel / B&W Photography / Transitional Industrial Utopian Series / Abstract / Models and Fashion Photography

  • Looking through the bus window on the way home, I see this playful movement of light and dark shades, between leaves and branches. It is a moment to be captured. Real image with no additional painting… The light painted it on my camera’s ccd sensor! I have set the camera on manual zoom, manual speed and aperture, so that the motion can be capture on shutter release. Behind the glass window of a moving bus, I hunt for the right angle of sun and the right tree, and follow throught the target like taking an image of a sport player. All about timing and a bit of luck! Love to see critiques and comments. All welcome. • Mixed Medium on canvas. The original is now currently for sale This painting was formerly / but it never really grew on me and I had it on Ebay for a while and it didn’t sell there so I decided to take the plunge and work over it. • Berlin is “The biggest construction site in the world”... International investors and real estate sharks scent in Berlin big business. The opportunity is unique: Never before has an entire capitol been sold and built again. The prices are rising and rising – but the one billion projects are not making progress. The first speculation is out of money. A wave of bankruptcies threatens… This was a quote from “Spiegel” in 1992… Did something change since then?... Berlin is still a big construction site and we still live in a period of transition... We’ve just became accustomed to it… This photo was taken 2009 in Berlin Mitte, at the bridge near the Museumsinsel (Museum Island)...

What will it do for you? From the original acrylic on canvas with metallic overlays. For Sale $650 plus postage and handling.

  • And one sneaky photographer. Captured while riding the New York Subway. Converted to HDR via ReDynaMix, than dodge & burnt and otherwise edited in CS3 and Digital Lightroom.
