Sally Omar / got inspired by This work and wrote this Poem to go with this Image , Thank you sally / —-—-—-—-- / VIRGIN Her smile like a moonbeam / Eyes like a violet dream / Skin so soft and like milk / Covering her hair with silk / Lips full and ever so red / Words of love never said / Breasts untouched by any hand / Never looked upon by any man / A heart so warm beyond compare / Yet no man has never been near / Her legs so long as she walks / Words so eloquent as she talks / Keeping herself ever so pure / Asking for nothing..wanting more / A woman yet a child / Her temperament so very mild / One day a true love will come along / Sing her a beautiful song / She will give her love so freely / And a VIRGIN she will no longer be.

Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado…..and how I love shooting up there when the winter weather begins to roll on in…the wind is bad, the air—-freezing cold, but the images that one can capture are filled with atmosphere and drama, case in point, this shot here. I about froze my butt off getting this shot of Mummy Mountain, but I wanted something that really showed all the detail here….that represented what it’s all about being a nature photographer in Colorado…... / Thoughts welcomed! / HDR blending used to bring out more dramatic light and detail / John

“Clouds on the Water, Fire Near the Sky” / Purchase a Mouse Pad of this image I happened onto this gorgeous sunrise over the White River at a time when the water was at its lowest. I was delighted to catch the calm surface for reflections, as the low rising sun was casting its first orange glow over the autumn colors.

Fell in deep like with Jake the Clydesdale on a visit to a working farm. He got bored after the carrots ran dry and wandered off in disgust. So, here he is, set free on a beach & processed with love. A tribute to all the pretty horses and the peace they breathe into our battered souls.

I feel the solitude and the tranquility, lift my face and feel the purity of the air, it envelopes me stroking me and i embrace it willingly. Here i could lay me down and die in the arms of the elements all alone slipping into eternal conciousness…...........into the arms of my Beloved Maker…........... With the global economy caught in the gravity of the financial crisis, it’s sad that programs like the Constellation Project will have a long wait before anything truly gets off the ground. / / NASA’s Constellation Project is set up to finish the International Space Station, retire the Shuttle Fleet and build a whole new fleet of space vehicles which will take us back to the Moon, then Mars and then the places beyond. / / But with Congressional limitations and funding cutbacks due to the financial crisis, as well as being stuck with a complicated and restrictive “go as you pay” finance structure it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing any groundbreaking manned space flights in the naughties. / / This image represents a fleeting memory of a childhood dream to see man explore our planets and then the stars beyond and it’s one of the few things as a child I looked up to America for. / / The universe is a big place and we’re yet to make it out of our solar system but without programs like the Constellation Project, man may never ever get to make another giant leap. / / DETAIL / / / /
