LADY AND THE TRAMP :)
Sitting in position, the Watcher peers through the curtains, observing all who pass.
no really but this poor chap has a point what do you think?
It was in Paris just under the Eiffel tower’s legs. This man gave bread to the pigeons and his head was so skinny and his expression at the same time lost, sad, strong and so dreamy… Photo: September 2006

A haunting scene as a Beggar hugs two Dogs for warmth and bows his Head in thanks as Money is put into his cap as the Sun rises for a new day on a rarely deserted Charles Bridge in Prague.

In the reflection of Lake McKenzie. A friend and I chose to spend our Easter weekend on the Routeburn Track, one of the “Great Walks” in New Zealand. We had three days on the trail and two nights in a tent, camping in some of the most pristine spots in NZ. This image was taken at dawn, just a short walk away from where we were camping.

Ella and Ethan having a romantic dinner on a budget.
This was a statue I found and thought the couple was absolutely adorable.
The detail on this statue is amazing, right down to the hidden botlle of booze.

I was talking with my daughter, about fashion, and what she likes. Steam Punk Fashions turns her crank, apparently. So, looking at some of the photos of it, I realized two things: 1) I bordered on that fashion, but, I thought it was just dressing as I pleased; 2) I could never take it, seriously I don’t mean that in a bad way, either. It’s just not the sort of thing I can not laugh at, because it amuses me so, to see someone, for instance, in a bustle and barb-wire. There you have the inspiration for this piece: a lovely being, who isn’t even wanting to be taken seriously; yet, in a rather serious style, methinks. As opposed to the unserious styles that people want you to hold a straight face over. Also, there is a bit of a play on words and phrases: steam tramps or steamer tramps, referring to certain travelers (legally or no); clowns dressed as tramps being an oh so popular theme; and a Steam Punk Clown dressed as a tramp (or is that Steam Punk Tramp dressed as a clown; or, is that a Steam Punk dressed as a tramp clown?).

This is an old picture but I was never happy with the original edit, so here it is again. It’s a candid shot I took whilst walking through East London. This guy’s a regular feature of this churchyard, sleeping off whatever he’s been up to…god only knows!
The view of Ama Dablam from our tent in the afternoon- escaping the cold wind but retaining the view.
