Parliament Station, Melbourne.
Shot at the trainstation in Aarhus, Denmark in January – a train was leaving the station, and as I walked up along the carts, I noticed this guy sitting there. I moved a couple of carts ahead, put the viewfinder to my eye, waited for him to get in the picture – and snap.

Hand drawn, 2b pencil. Another attempt at trying to make these both look like vintage photographs, inside a photograph album, you can barely see the photo album corners

The train station dates back to the American Civil War. It stands today over-grown with moss and vines along Route 405, near Dewart PA. The door has been sealed shut by the vines…makes you wonder what it’s like inside…
Life can be pretty black and white sometimes…... This was shot many years ago in the grimy inner city suburb of Newtown while waiting for a train at St Peters Station…... the inner city can be a fairly fraught place to be in sometimes so CityRail kindly placed a lovely billboard of a rainforest ajacent to the platform to sooth the harried traveller…... it advertises nothing but a little bit of wishful thinking and dream beliving…..... and I’m all for that….....:)

The guest (and later prisoner) of the Vampire is starting out on his journey to the castle. i have gone backwards and am working now on the beginning of the story where the guest is going from train station to train station in his travels to the Vampire’s castle. Not sure about his shadow in the photo, this is suppose to be a vintage photo of a train station in Munich in 1892, taken with a Kodak camera and the images were round .

Did just today (30 September, 2008). i drew this on paper i soaked in coffee around 10 years ago, to give it an aged vintage look. Hand drawn in No.2 pencil & 2B pencil. This is the second of the train stations the guest is taking to get to Transylvania where the Vampire awaits in his castle (and of course the guest has no clue is host is a Vampire). One more train station, in Buda-Pesth, then the rest of the trip will be by carriage.
