First good sunset in a while, just after I took this a train came around the corner and I had just enough time to get off the tracks :D Pretty happy with this shot, although I’m planning on coming back here to re-shoot it as its only a 10 minute drive away. There’s also a dam in the paddock on the right that I’d like to take a look at. “The Met”, formerly known as The Metropolitan Transit Authority and the Public Transport Corporation respectively, was the government agency responsible for operating trams, trains and buses in the Australian city of Melbourne from 1983 until 1999. MetRail was the division which operated the suburban railway network in Melbourne. The first appearance of this “flying wings” design was in 1983, and it prevailed until the early 1990’s. Perfect for the enthusiast or history buff. Sure to be a talking point. Note: This logo is reproduced here on the fair assumption that it is considered abandoned, as it represents an entity that was dissolved by an act of parliament, and which no longer exists.

This is a fairly large acrylic on stretched canvas goes over staple free sides no frame needed if desired. I have been painting a lot of steam trains lately and have sold most of them. They are great in not just a child’s room but any room in your home or office and will add the magic of color to your home and life ! 24”—30” 575.00
