This is the sequel to The Approach It was captured at the same station in Shepparton, just facing in opposite directions! / Used a Sony Alpha with a 28 – 70mm in B&W mode. Shot at the trainstation in Aarhus, Denmark in January – a train was leaving the station, and as I walked up along the carts, I noticed this guy sitting there. I moved a couple of carts ahead, put the viewfinder to my eye, waited for him to get in the picture – and snap.

This image came about in an awesome way for me. Two weeks earlier, the model, Margrit, was telling me a bit about her life. She’s lived and travelled in many countries and taken lots of opportunities. She has also achieved great success with her photography. Several weeks later, I had an unusual chance to photograph her in an old train – the perfect location to reflect her life’s journey. / In Australia, Margrit has achieved her LAPS and AAPS, and is the only West Australian women to received international photographic honours AFIAP. have always wanted to capture a big plane landing but could never be there at the right time or having the wind blowing in the right direction. The low clouds helps bring the plane closer than usual….i could almost touch it….hahhah. To see a hugh metal flying over you at approx. 200kph is…...priceless. The jetfuel, the noise…...Perfect. ‘Asia Series’ card and prints by Karin Taylor Little Green Teapot is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper using ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal. She is loosely inspired by green tea and the japanese tea ceremony perfomed by the beautiful Geisha in Japan. Obviously, she is in training…not yet fully fledged.

This is the shot you must take if you go to Broome… the camel train at sunset. The tide was on the way out and the residual water gave great reflections.

Ever felt the heavy heart of saying goodbye to someone? Train Stations, airports, bus stops…they can be places of great sadness. When I found this little station, I found myself thinking of the work of two photographers: Don an awesome photographer who loves trains! Check out his breath-taking landscapes and other great work, including this train . He’s given me so much help over the past few years – a generous soul with a great eye for photography. Paul Louis Villani also leapt into my head. He has some incredible images of trains and train stations. While I wouldn’t even attempt to immitate his style, his work gives me so much inspiration, and got me thinking about how I would like to present this scene. My fav image of his is Still standing
