Croydon Town Centre UK Captured Saturday 18th July 2009 Camera Nikon D700 with 24-120mm Lense. We were just visiting Croydon to visit the Banks and Building Societies on a Saturday, therefore I had to take Niko (Nick name for my Nikon) with me:-) My wife’s very patient, sometimes, and will wait until I frame up and take my time to get a shot. This was just outside a bank in Croydon, whilst waiting for my wife. I love the contrast between the really old buildings and the newer developments. Driving through Croydon in a nightmare though, and I’d advise taking the train or public transport.

Craftsmen and children apply the finishing touches to a traditional chariot in the medieval town of Bhaktapur, Nepal. The chariots are decorated for the Bisket Jatra festival on the Nepali New Year’s day, which is around April 15th. The chariots are paraded through the town for the event. Bhaktapur is a well- preserved example of fine Nepali architecture and magnificent craftmanship. Taken in 1980 with a Nikon FM2, nikkor 28mm lense and kodachrome slide film. Scanned at 3600 dpi with dust and grime removed in photoshop, with image enlarged to 200%.

Historic mining town in S/E Arizona. Bisbee now is a tourist and artist enclave. It has mild winter weather and is close to the Historic town of Tombstone.

This was taken on a trip up to Lancelin, A small sea side town about 130km North of Perth. Lancelin is famous for it’s sand dunes, which are mainly used for off roading activities, but it also makes a great spot for some great photo opportunities. EOS 5D Mk II.
