Looking down Flinders street, Melbourne on a wintry afternoon.
This is Annabella – she loves her home, and feels a strong connection to the tiny town she grew up in. She would love to stay there forever – home is definitely where her heart is!
THIS WAS TAKEN IN ONE OF THE MOST CHARMING TOWNS I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF EXPERIENCING. IT IS CALLED OIA IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE GREEK ISLAND CALLED SANTORINI. THE TOWN LITERALLY CASCADES DOWN TEH HILL.THE SUNSETS THERE ARE WORLD REKNOWNED AND I TOOK THIS ABOUT 20 MINUTES AFTER THE SUN HAD SET USING A 3 SECOND SLOW EXPOSURE ON A TRIPOD ATOP A CLIFF EDGE THAT I HAD TO RISK LIFE AND LIMB TO GET TO SO I COULD GET THE ANGLE I WANTED. TAKEN WITH A FUJI FILM S9600 *WINNER OF ‘DESTINATIONS’ CONTEST IN 100% GROUP!!
This shot was taken in Copacabana in 2006, a little town in the north of Bolivia, situated on the bank of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world at 3800 mts. / There was a big celebration in town that day and so much to see and discover. But I was so tired that I decided to sit down and rest for a while when those two men sat just in front of me. I took so many pictures of them but this one is my favorite.
Cityscape was shot from the top of the “Arc de Triomphe” in Paris (France). Far away you can see “La Defense” district. When the shot was taken the avenue was strangely empty, all the cars seemed to be escaping the city. I think this photograph will be great on Laminated print, Mounted print or Canvas print.
Lots of textures in this porch. Used it to frame a bit of the town in the distance.
Taken in Kempsey, NSW. Not a place of dreams (with apologies to anyone who lives there)
thanks to billyboy for giving this image a bit of a makeover in photoshop! check out his portfolio its great! / here’s the original (ive replaced this with the smaller, more proportionate version) The shot itself was taken by my son some time last year (can’t remember when) in london.
