Weeping Willow. This is my favourite willow tree which stands at the side of Huntingdon River which is a town in Cambridgeshire, i changed this to black and white and added a soft focus effect, i cropped the image slightly and adjusted the light as it was a cloudy day..Taken Dec 2008 – Sony Cybershot 10.1mp /

Prague seen from Petrin Lookout Tower (Petrinska Rozhledna), Czech Republic. More than one year ago, I’ve got fascinated by some overlay works presented in various PS fora. Last year, I found about RB and soon could admire beautiful composite works of e.g. John Edwards here at RB. Inspired by many of those images here at RB or elsewhere, I’ve been planning to put my hands on some overlay work too, but I only got to it in recent days, ultimately inspired by The Wilds Of France by onefourseven (thank you, Mat, both for inspiration and a link to textures!). / This composite is my first result on the theme, composed of my original photograph and three textures from cgtextures.com. Comments and suggestions welcome! Original photograph: May 2008, Canon EOS 300X, Sigma 28-135. Post-processing: retouch, BW conversion, curves, sharpening, sepia, color adjustment, shape cut, filter gallery, overlay by three textures from cgtextures.com with adjusted brightness/contrast/levels/color, color adjustment, blend modes; final file: 24 layers, 5540×3693px, approx. 1.5GB, color profile conversion 10min, saving time >5min.

I have not stopped thinking about the works of / LisaG and her newest piece called Sad Tree it got my mind and heart juiced up! SAD TREE _Beside a waterhole / a sad tree was planted seasonally / it leaned forward in a spirited attempt / to soulfully drench an act of love it did it all / without shame smoke often filled the air / the sad tree / was the last of its breed it had seen a fair amount / it had danced the last dance all that was left was to / take care of its bounty no more travel / c’est la vie a railway line sang blue / as the willow / spoke to flesh and blood flesh ran / to the rose bush without bud / asking for no reason why must I hang my head? This is the church of St Winnow, which lies on the banks of the River Fowey, just below Lostwithiel in Cornwall, England. The church was featured in the 1977 BBC series of Poldark, which starred Anghard Rees and Robin Ellis, as Ross Poldark. This capture was shot in colour, but converted to B+W with an IR filter in CS3.
