  • another infrared image from the vaults that has been gently coloured to give it the emotional tone it needs. I shot this image and the ones that follow in the days after my father died. They were all taken while I wandered along the river Torrens in Adelaide near where he lived. This particular stretch of the river is particularly beautiful and was a place he loved to go walking with his cameras. So then this image is about memory and loss and also about redemption through beauty. / . /

  • under the bridge #2
    by Juilee Pryor

    US$4.99–US$114.00

a long time ago I lived in Adelaide and in the centre of the city runs the river Torrens….. not by any stretch the most beautiful river in the world but the only one that runs through the centre of this tidy little city….. and under the river just were it leaves the pretty popeye boats and meanders off to slightly wider parts…. there is a large old concrete bridge…. and in the searingly hot months of summer lots of the local kids hang out here … climbing the internal spans and jumping into the often murky depths of the river below….. I always found the slightly gothic structure of this bridge attractive in a somewhat dingy defeated sort of way and always marvelled at the resilence of the kids that jumped from it…. this short series of photo’s… there will be three…. is my ode to the memory of that classic structure and my memories of wandering by it….. enjoy….. / . / . / . / . /
