I have always detested war and the other catastrophes caused by politics and religion. After talking to many Fathers of sons and daughters in the war, I have heard stories that have brought tears and shear horror to my soul. Then I hear about how these valiant men and women are treated by those that say its their duty and get scared even more. This poem is derived from what I’ve heard from these families and WILL not jive with what you have heard from the media or the government. You choose what to believe.

I created this image from a photograph of some trees forking like lightning across and angry sky. I have created quite a sad image, the women is crying over the loss of somebody dear to her. I always have these visions when I visit castles or churches, the pain an aguish these buildings must have witnessed have over the years.
