This image was re-worked using HDR processing. I also utillized a tip from Popular Photography to enhance the sky, using a combination of selective color, blending and blur features. I was watching a bald eagle nest in Ladner, BC, Canada, which is just south of Vancouver. The adults were coming and going at intervals. This image shows the female returning to the nest, and just about to land on a branch. The nest is to the right of the picture. The image was captured using a Nikon D2Xs camera with a 600mm lens and 1.4 teleconverter mounted on a tripod.

A compilation of my familiar egrets pasted in Photoshop against kind of an angry “fraced” sky, with water added using Flood. In this one I did the egrets reflection in a separate image in Photshop, to see how that would work out. I like the results. The sky was an actual photo that I used Fractilious software to enhance. Kind of a fun one…. I had this idea of the petals falling into the water, than I thought of put my friend in there. He says… “She loves me, she loves me not, she loves me!” Pretty cute, hey….:-) / / Used Photoshop to blend the two images and cut the petals off and rearrange them. Well, you may remember this little one from our backyard duck experience this year. He’s so cute I decided to go back and have another look, and came up with this rendition. I used a gradient brush background with lighting effects added to highlight the duck. I used the orton effect on the duck to make him soft. Everybody needs some lovin’, don’t they? Hope you like!
