My old roommate has a twisted sense of humor, she got Fred online along with The Ex-Boyfriend Knife Holder & she LOVES them! And I must admit it ~ I DO TOO! So we’re both twisted? Maybe that’s why we’ve been friends for almost 20 years now? LOL / /
This was at my little half sister’s birthday party. There is a cabbage underneath. I think it’s a good idea for party. See my other Party food photo /

Muskrat having a little snack. National Park in Plaisance, Quebec.
Location: Harris Beach, Oregon Driftwood at Harris Beach, one of my favorite haunts. I used to haunt it more when there was more of that elusive thing known as Free Time. Each year the ocean brings in and takes out these huge chunks of aged wood. The landscape never the same as I left it the year before. This was part of a yearly birthday expedition. The end of this giant sized log reminded me of toothpicks. Something my Father is generally known to be carting around in a pocket or found drifting about (still in their plastic or paper coverings) in automobile crevices, chair side tables, or stuck between his lips.
Is this just a veiled reference???

Decided to challenge myself. Thought it would be good for me to do one painting a week in one sitting. No multi-session work on these paintings. Figured it might push me to look harder. To be bolder. To boldly go where. . . wait a minute. How’d Star Trek sneak in here. I keep a blog with these paintings commented on in detail, if you’re interested. Just go to Bottomline. . . here’s a gallery of works that are one session paintings. Time to let them get some air on The Bubble. 7” x 5” / acrylic on panel collection the artist
