BUY THIS CARD AND FEEL GOOD FOR WEEKS! Delightful baby welcomes home her parents. Taken in 1996 in Greystones Wicklow. I was taking portrait shots of the baby, she´s my cousins, through the kitchen back door window when the baby just latched herself onto the glass by her tongue and almost magnetically began to rise up the window frame. I could hardly take the picture for laughter. 3393 views / 125 favouritings / 166 comments / 4 sales C’mon Guys and Girls buy a baby today!! I can’t believe there is less than 250 Sumatran Tigers in the wild today, and at least 2-5 a DAY are being killed for skins and alternitive medicines. It sadens me a great deal to know this… For every framed print I sell of the 3 tiger photos I upload to RedBubble, I will donate $5-$15 depending on frame size to the Wildlife Warriors – Tiger fund. This will help save the magestic animals from poachers in their native habitat. We have to help these tigers, because they can’t help themselves.. It’s up to us! Canon 50D 300mm, Australia Zoo.

Thud was such a handsome fellow which I had the pleasure of meeting in Colorado in 2007. I had known of Thud prior our meeting as his owner would e-mail me about him. While in Colorado, I managed to get a series of photos of him - including this one. He died shortly after and I am honored that I was blessed with our meeting - even if only for a short moment. Although you can’t tell in these photos, Thud suffered from a condition called degenerative myelopathy (DM). He was slowly going paralyzed and although his mind was sharp, his body was not. 100% of sales of “Thud” cards will be donated to the American Chesapeake Club Trust Fund to help fund research for DM and other diseases which affect our canine friends. Taken with a Canon 30D, Canon f/2.8L IS 70-200mm

When I got my Canon PowerShot A640 in the early Summer of 2007 I started taking various shots in the backyard. This image of a purple Iris was one of the first macro shots I had ever taken, and definitely one of my most popular images here on RedBubble. It was named Iris’ Tongue because it looked to me like it was sticking out it’s “tongue”. / / “Iris’ Tongue II” has been shown as a part of the Flower Power Project Exhibition in Frisco, Texas. / / “Iris’ Tongue II” is available in all print formats offered by RedBubble. / / / / / / / / Check out more of my art from these categories: / Holiday Cards / Abstracts / Sketches / Birds / Seascapes/Landscapes/Sunsets / / / _____________ /
I could not resist taking Silver’s picture this morning, she was snuggled in right beside me, and the look on her face was overwhelming…. I asked her to “stay” I grabbed my camera…and…this is the result… / Not to hard to wake up to this every morning..let me tell you.. I would pick her over a husband any day…LOL
Bee captured in mid-flight, flying with his tongue out.
I thought I would leave you with a funny photo that I took today of one of the kittens that I fed…..I had to laugh when I saw this
What’s really disturbing about this piece is that I drew it before I went to sleep last night… EDIT: Sorry to all those who liked it better in blue, I had to edit it to suit the new printing better and the blue I had just didn’t quite work with it anymore.
An exercise in vector painting – tutorial (of sorts) coming soon. Detail shot: Illustrator wireframe:
Morelia tracyae, the Halmahera Island Scrub Python.
Gestural abstract. An energetic piece about how the tongue which is also used to worship the Lord can be used for all sorts of insults and can cut like a knife. Brown, blue, white, black and beige. Original is sold.
Just a bit of tongue in cheek…..........
this image started life as a pencil sketch and evolved from there. The Double-mouthed sailtail generously tows his companion, Blockhead, across the Atlip desert. Blockhead shields Gorff from the watchful eye of the ever hungry Zylap. Their trusty, but aging pumpkin droid, brings up the rear.
