I see this guy around a lot. He is a happy guy, though, i’m not sure how happy he was having his portrait done. My wife saw him yesterday but didn’t tell me in time, see, I plan on printing this picture and taking it to him – see what he thinks of it… i’d like to know his story. update VERY excited, actually… I was on my way to a shoot I had this afternoon at Cafe Nouveaute @ Habitat in Kings road, London… [good coffee!] ...anyway, was on my way to this shoot and who do I see but “the homeless guy”... I did a double take cause he was sitting in front of a sandwich shop at a table having a sandwich.. same clothes.. I stopped and looked at him, almost pointed, he pointed at me and had a look on his face.. I walked over and said “Hi, I to…” and before I could finish he said “You took my photo”... “I did” I said, “I hope you didn’t mind”... He went on to say that he was actually quite stunned that anyone would want to take his photo and that he was touched. I [very sadly] didn’t have time to stop, I was running late for a client… Anyway, I told him that I really like the shot I took of him and asked if he wanted a copy – he got a bit teary and I got quite choked up…! it was weird and really sweet all at the same time. I plan on carrying a print around with me when wandering about, just incase I see him… ....His name is Bruce If I sell this work in any way shape or form, half of the proceeds will go to Bruce, though, I worry what he will do with the money… well.. we shall see…

Here is one that is a reality based drawing in the now and the etheric now which I call “Grandfather Awaits”. / The real world place is Camel Rock and the Etheric now of the twin Moons over Camel Rock and if you look hard while there you can see the realm of the Grandfathers as well as the real time world you are looking from. / If you look around you now can you see through the veil of the Etheric World while standing in this one. / Grandfather Awaits you all you can to is …......................... spirituality awaits as well so go on and look, feel, become one with the self

I don’t even really like football, so I’m not exactly sure why in the world I made this. It was done about…wow…six years ago. (Crap I’m getting old). Not only do I have no idea why I made it then, but I have even less of an idea why in the world I would decide to dust it off, scan it in, and put it up on Redbubble now. Sigh…I’ve been working too hard lately…I’m losing my mind.

Often when construction is in process, there are dumpsters for the material that is discarded. Some of these provide graffiti artists with / a wonderful surface on which they can express their collective art. Unlike my tree graffiti photographs, vibrant color is often used and there is a large space to create spontaneous images. Two examples of this urban art form in my portfolio are titled, “Life’s Deal” and “The Circle of Life.” Here is another example of the work of a group of artists who created, layer, by layer this graffiti image. What do you see in this highly textured and vibrantly colored canvas of symbolic images? As part of the projective play of interpreting what you see, I want to use your creativity in giving this piece a title. View this in the large form / to appreciate the imagery.

Not my most earth-shattering shot, but I just loved the looks on the faces of these two … taken in the nocturnal display at the zoo, under strange lighting! Title taken from the old movie / song of the same name (Words by Paul Frances Webster / Music by Sammy Fain) Actually it was originally spelled “splendored” but seems to have morphed to “splendid” over the years. Ben Hur Spectacular Live Show / Captured at the O2 Arena {Millennium Dome} London UK. Camera Nikon D700 with 24-120mm Nikor Lense. It was a wonderful privillege to be taken to the O2 Arena to view Ben Hur by my son and his friend. I also took along my friend Wole Bolade. After reading the terrible reviews of the show, I was wondering if we’d enjoy it. I love the old film with Charlton Heston which was made 50 years ago now. I’m 50 this year:-). Well, I can tell you I was blown away with the production. Some things could have been done better, but the overall impression I got, as did my companions, was that it’s a quality production. With an obvious amount of creative genius and skill. Ben Hur Live Really was a spectacular show the likes of which will not be seen very often. / As you’d probably expect the plotline of the Ben Hur the Show is very similar to the 1959 film of the story about the life of Judah Ben-Hur, a young Jewish Nobleman living in the time of the Roman Empire’s occupation of Judah, also the time of Jesus of Nazareth. Ben Hur is a tale of loyalty, revenge, forgiveness and love. If you get the chance to go and see it again it will be at the O2 in January 2010. I’d highly recommend it.
