Tis The Christmas, Tis Season / Tis The day of Birth for every reason / As Walk I down the street, I am puffed on the cheek by a beautiful snow angel, / falling from the sky in its dome of sudden glory. I heard my girlfriend’s chuckles and laughs, and yet there I stood amass toward the gifts of luxury and of joy. for I was the one fo rher I was her special toy. I winded up with concentration to forage that boy who made her amused, humored, and at the utmost hystrical to his jokes of witticism. Alas, I never found him nor will I ever love again tis an icy spear inserted in my chest, sure I’ll wallow but not when it puts me on death’s cold doorstep. For life’s like fine wine, you’ve gotta give it time, so don’t let this keep your chime in sorrow or no melody come morrow.

I enjoy sneezing. Well, since I’m making an entry, I might as well say that I’m a bit behind on checking out artwork. I’ll catch up eventually, but I apologize for being behind. Things have been very busy around here. We had another massive snow storm the other night – our yard still isn’t plowed out from that. Gramps’ surgeries went well & he’s doing very well (he can already use his hands a little better than before!!!). Work stuff is a bit crazy as well. I ended up working a double to start off the week, so my sleep schedule is VERY off right now. Also, we had the State inspectors show up today. They stayed for almost the ENTIRE shift, so it was extremely stressful – moreso since I was tired in the first place & stressed about my crazy sleep schedule. They’re supposed to be there again tomorrow, & I’m not looking forward to that. Also, I have an 8-4 on Thursday, which means I have to work with the assistant director of nursing, and that can sometimes be pretty stressful. At least I have four days off after Thursday. I’ll be going to Minneapolis to visit my amazing sister & her awesome husband. I’m really looking forward to it, since I haven’t seen them in a while – with their conflicting work schedules, they weren’t able to come home for Christmas. So we’re going to have our own Christmas – in January! So, I’ll probably be even more behind on checking out everybody’s works come next week, but I’ll catch up eventually – I always do. Well, I’m going to wake up my cat (who is sleeping under the blanket next to me on the couch), let the dog out, change out of my work clothes into some nice fleecy pajamas, & we’ll all head upstairs to hit the hay. Have a good one!

A thank you out to the hosts & moderators of the Shapes & Patterns group who featured Swoop over the last few weeks. A thank you also to those participating in a couple of challenges and to those supporting my entries. Congratulations to all the participants in these challenges. Wonderful collections were created! It has come to my attention that christmas is almost upon us… what are you all up to over this festive period? planned anything yet or are you a play it by ear kind of human.. I myself after becoming a climbing frame christmas morning for my 4 beautiful children will be heading on out to photograph a family wedding, what a day for it… well i guess if everyone is already going to be there why not… so congratulations to my almost brother inlaw Grant and Nicole i just hope the job that i manage to produce amongst all the relatives known and unknown will be good enough… for some reason shooting for people i know always makes it more difficult to calm the butterflies… Now a little off the beaten track and to the point of this journal entry. As it turns out, the wonderful artistic ability seems to run quite strongly through my family and for a second year running we have all decided to show our talent together. Hi everyone, / I know it’s a bit late to be starting this but my ‘real life’ job has had me straight out as of late. / Every year at this time I volunteer what spare time I have in the community. This year seems to be a bit harder for everyone on every scale. My plan was to have a small showing of some of my work at my place of employment. A small auction of sorts. Sadly, I work for the Federal Government and my place of employment is strict with confidentiality rules due to clients having access to most parts of the Institution. Here is my new plan: / I am offering individualized calendars of works that you handpick from my portfolio. ALL proceeds from these will go directly to either Christmas Daddies http://www.christmasdaddies.org/telethon/capebreton.html or the local SPCA (with winter coming shelters are busting at their britches). / All you have to do is let me know which works you would like added and which charity you would like to support. I will continue to donate all proceeds until March 30 2010 and will journal monthly on it’s progress. I can also provide tax receipts to those who require them. Much thanks in advance from myself, underprivileged local kids and furkids. / Godspeed. / Riggzy
