One day walking on the rail trail I went further than usual I came upon a forgotten coal tipple. I was pretty surprised as I didn’t realize we had any left that were standing.

Emperor Meiji of Japan (1852-1912) was partial to a tipple of Sake on occasion. These barrels were donated to Tokyo’s Meiji Jingu shrine in his honour.
