The Wizard of Oz was the kind of story that has stirred the imagination for over a 100 years now. It was written in 1900 and made into a movie in 1939. I like each of the characters, but always felt sorry for the Tinman. He wanted a heart. He wanted to feel loved and to give love. But how did he feel before he found he had a heart after all? Lonely? Empty? Lost? Just thinking again. :o) Let’s pay homage to a great story that has stirred the imagination so well. Created in Incendia using a background of my own from my photography and some work in Photoshop. Featured in: Style! Class! Elegance! Excellence! and Digital Brushstrokes.
” he hides out in my shed and scares the dickens out of me everytime I go in the there to get the lawnmower, .... now my wife mows the lawn “ Randy

my tinman disappeared saturday night late and we didn’t know he was missing till the morning or we would have called him. / he sleeps with me and we were already in bed but we had company and tinman was notorious for sneaking out quickly. he would go out with me in the day but in at night. / my other cat is howling in mourning because she misses him. / i am trying to keep calm in hopes that he will run in the door when i call soon ;) / we live in a rural area so there are lots of predators. / but i believe my tinman will prevail whether it be at our home or someone elses he might like better ;) / love, carol / xxx
This Tin Woodsman doesn’t seem rusty at all.
Some of us grew up with the Wizard of Oz. Full of magic & wonder. I was in a theater the other day & I passed a closed door that had a sign on it that said: Nobody gets in to see the wizard. Not nobody, not no how! A quote from the beloved Wizard movie. I decided it deserved a Tee!

The Tin Man has a heart of Love….He is made of an old furnace tank and metal pails,
Like gray dust in a Kansas wind / once blown across the arid plains, / we wander lengths of loneliness, / barren, dry islands of isolatio…
“ But Oz never did give nothin’ to the Tinman that he didn’t already have…” Line from the lyrics to “Tinman” recorded by America. © 1974 WB Music Corp.
