9×12 Technical Pen & Ink. Original unavailable. As of 11-28-09 1111 views. Nakita.. now her story is strange. She was offered on E-BAY for all of $1!! Her owner was tired of her.. but E-Bay does not sell live animals and when the powers that be heard about this, she was pulled immediately. Nakita is a very small tigress (may have something to do with poor nutrition) but is now a happy lady! She has a nice big enclosure and LOVES TO PLAY IN THE MUD!! I think I have more pictures of her mud covered than any of the other cats.. but she chuffs at me when I come around.. and rubs at the fence to get my attention. / I truly hope that another message comes through.. that these animals DO NOT MAKE GOOD PETS.. that’s why places like Noah’s are in existence. If people would just think before they buy that cute LITTLE cub.. life would be easier on all of us especially the animals. After all.. they didn’t ask to be in the situation they are.. and there are far to many unscrupulous people out there that are in it for the money.. / At least with education, we might make a little difference.. even if we save just one animal.. it’s a beginning!! / All proceeds from any sales will be donated to Noah’s Lost Ark Sanctuary for the care and feeding of the animals. / Complete 2004
ah, summer… more cute tigers:
probably the cutest photograph i’ve ever taken
Uh oh…. the stripy ones have spotted us
It’s sad that some zoo’s keep persisting to breed white tigers despite all the bad side effects. Still… these ones do not breed and there is no reason not to enjoy the ones that are already there. because they are certainly pretty.

Don’t you just hate it when you have a boyfriend who snores?
A portrait of one of the three cubs that lived in Ouwehands zoo (Rhenen, the Netherlands) in 2007. She was always fun to watch because she just loved to hunt after her family and the zoo visitors (especially small children, dogs and, for some reason, me).
A cute winged tiger cub investigates a flower and discovers a butterfly! This work was created both with watercolors and some digital manipulations. I hope ya enjoy it!
Digital manipulation based on Amur Tigress Yenna and one of her three cubs. The tigers’ pose is genuine – the family of tigers were very tactile and playful with mum. ;o)

This is one of the pretty orange butterflies I have been hoping to catch up with. She isn’t as big as the one I saw floating around the yard last week, but she is too beautiful to ignore. LavenderMoon~
Another shot of this little angel…. you can see her curled probiscus very clearly in this one. LavenderMoon~
This girl has been at Taronga for some time, and loves to pose for a photo or two (thankfully). They are magnificent animals.. The siberian tiger is endagered thanks mainly to poaching and the illegal trade in tiger body parts for chinese medicine….

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE, / NATALIE. __________ This is Part of my Fine Art Diploma, my last assignment. As we speak I am awaiting the results. So far I have received Distinctions for all of my work, and am hoping the same for this one, wish me luck! This painting is in Acrylics, on A4 320gsm Canvas Paper. I chose to paint a Tiger as my Mum-in-Law loves them, so it serves two purposes…it goes towards my FA Diploma, and a gift for her too! It looks wonderful, double mounted, and set in a thick beech frame, which compliments the tones of the Tiger perfectly. Hope you like! :)
This is a female Bengal Tiger at the Virginia Safari Park called Lily. Taken on a rainy day. Bengal Tigers are primarily found in India and Bangladesh. They are an Endangered Species. /
