This kaleidoscope design was generated from a photograph I shot of a gorgeous orange, magenta and purple sunset over Lake Jenkinson, California.

With a single flower bloom in hand this young girl follows a dirt path towards the rainbow stained sky. With a little more sun and a few more flowers she may just very well follow her path to the brighter side. The perfect get well soon card.
Abstracted instruments of Peace. my favorite work, as it ties the harmony of art and music into a message of peace to anyone who would see…note: apart from that, it’s lines aren’t so accurate and the instruments a bit wobbly, a refelction of reality of art… Watercolor, Arches Cold Press.

My dad bought a pack of 6 pansies, 3 of the 6 were this cross breed of a yellow and purple pansy, very unique and I really like them! My son thinks that they look tie dyed.
Everyone needs a little Tie Dye in their world

The album cover of Beatles for Sale reworked for a t-shirt.
I like this little dinosaur, previously used in a previous T-shirt eating a sheep. I thought I’d have a play about with words again and came up with this :)
Dye, paint, cloth, sandstone, ice, hair, with ginko leaf & shell. / Limits of Painting, performance & installation piece, part thereof. “The issue is traditional painting in the light of contemporary art practices: coursework in the Limits of Painting, being melting ice washing away red paint on paper, freeing the human hair as a brush to wash away the remaining pigment imprint. The sandstone represents the vessel of human existence, elavated to ritualistic performance as Art. It should have a primordal sense of man’s action in place & time. It is viewed as authentic gesture. It is an exercise in discourse.” by chrythmnove / on Limits of Painting Homage Series. / The body lenghth tie-dye cloth has been beaten against with red smears of paint where the feet & hands lie, after Ana Mendietta, the Feminist painter.
It is amazing to realize that 40 years have passed since the event of a lifetime…the Woodstock Music Festival in upstate New York…the Summer of 69…the summer that changed the world. I was only 16 that summer and still living in Texas….way too far away to convince my parents that I really needed to be there… ;-) Now, 40 years later, the Spirit of Woodstock is alive and well….the music, the coming together, the Peace, Love & Happiness state of mind will live forever…. For the MIA ‘Woodstock-Summer of 69-40 Years!’ Challenge Beautiful People by Melanie is a song which still touches my heart in a very profound way…if you’ve never heard it, give it a listen…it is the Essence of Love. Beautiful people / You live in the same world as I do / But somehow I never noticed / You before today / I’m ashamed to say Beautiful people / We share the same back door / And it isn’t right / We never met before / But then / We may never meet again / If I weren’t afraid you’d laugh at me / I would run and take all your hands / And I’d gather everyone together for a day / And when we’re gather’d / I’ll pass buttons out that say / Beautiful people / Never have to be alone / ‘Cause there’ll always be someone / With the same button on as you / Include him in everything you do. Beautiful people / You ride the same subway / As I do ev’ry morning / That’s got to tell you something / We’ve got so much in common / I go the same direction that you do / So if you take care of me / Maybe I’ll take care of you Beautiful people / You look like friends of mine / And it’s about time / That someone said it here and now / I make a vow that some time, somehow / I’ll have a meeting / Invite ev’ryone you know / I’ll pass out buttons for / The ones who come to show / Beautiful people / Never ever have to be alone / ‘Cause there’ll always be someone / With the same button on as you / Include him in ev’rything you do / He may be sitting right next to you / He may be a beautiful people too / And if you take care of him / Maybe he’ll take care of you / ‘Cause all of the beautiful people do / And you’re all beautiful people too

I’ve actually had some fun this morning and tie-dyed a little piece of calico with Daler-Rowner FW Acrylic Artists Ink. Afterwards done some colour alteration in photoshop and cut the elephant designs from Tattoo Elephant
