  • Number three of the Musashi Wear designs.

  • Last but not least, Musashi Wear number five. This one took a while to draw, but I think I got the posture captured pretty well. Now to eat…

  • This was pure luck, but I see many things within each sphere, especially the far right one. Tell me what you see. Lisa C. Weber ©2008 (Created with Bryce 6.1) Visit My Complete Bubble for all My 3D Artwork. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy!

  • The Icon. You know you want it… Also, 3 is better than one!

  • THIS IS A BIG IMAGE VIEW LARGER FOR BEST RESULTS This shot was taken from Echo Point in the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area at sunset, it was created from 5 bracketed images using a Nikon D300 fitted with a Nikon 18-200mm. No filters were used. The rock formations to the left are known as “The Three Sisters” the image was taken at sunrise looking past the Sisters certainly have a great view. The Blue Mountains are located 2 hours west of Sydney by road, also by train for visitors to Sydney, there are also organised day trips via motor coach that will take you to the area for the day…. though if you have the time spend a few days in the area. You can see all the attractions, have a devonshire tea in one of the many teahouses, or sit on the edge of the valley that seems to go on forever, and listen to the birdlife. Bushwalking is a must !

  • Sometimes the strangest of acquaintances can be the best of friends…

  • The Black King’s Bishop (The Shaman) / Artist: Simon Sherry / Biography: Danny Descendants of an ancient race, the Shaman have links to the old ways, ways observed before man was the dominant species of the world. The shaman is spiritual overlord of the army and is answerable only to the king. Legend has it the ancestors of the king tricked the shaman – even then a dying breed- to serve him and in doing so bound their loyalty to all kings that followed for all time. / Shaman have become an intricate link in the chain that have evolved into the Armies of the Black Spear and it’s development into the warrior nation it has now become. The Shaman through majik and selective breeding have created the Black Knights, Monoliths, Basilisk and Pawn Spawn / The Shaman does not regret or harbor resentment for things past and is totally loyal to the king and the betterment of the Army of the Black Spear. The Shaman splits itself into two distinct personalities when it enters the battle controlling each body with either side of its brain. Left for Queen – Right for King. Read more of the Shaman here

  • Perdu – forgotten, out of sight, French The painting is about aging and lost beauty (not just physical beauty), which only continues to exist in our memories and thoughts. It has been inspired by the three fates from Norse mythology: Wyrd, Skuld and Verdandi. Their Roman equivalents are the Parcea: Nona, Decima and Morta. In Greek mythology they are know as the Moirae: Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos. All three mythologies agree that one of the three fates would spin the thread, the other would measure it and the last one would cut it, measuring out the fates. The two birds are Odin’s ravens, Memory and Thought. The tree necklace pendant is meant to represent Yggdrasil – the world ash of Norse mythology. The spindle, a tape measure with a Greek reference (alpha for the beginning of a life and omega for the ending of a life) and the scissors used to cut the thread. The scissors are based on a design from the T’ang dynasty. Although not that many people still know much about the three fates, I’ve always been fascinated by them and some authors are too: Stephen King’s Insomnia and Robin Jarvis’ Wyrd Museum trilogy. I am sure there are others. The patterns used on the wallpaper and the camisole are created by me. The leaves are my own photographs edited and used to frame the image.
