  • Al Neaimi: It took me somtimes to think of a person i would pass this honor to , there are so many talanted people and alot of amazing art on here which makes it hard ,I would really like to nominate The endless walk by Geir Floede / Geir’s work is very creative all his work is extraordinary , my fav is THE ENDLESS WALK , this image to me is one of the best I have ever seen simple yet powerful as many can relate and connect to it —-—-—-—-—-—-—-— This photo was selected as digital winner in redbubbles book in the moment />Beautiful imagery of a person in the wilderness wearing a track in deep into the snow. She has come from offstage but looks set to walk endlessly in a circle til she breaks free . . . or someone breaks into her world. She is definitely “in the moment”. Very understated, exceptionally powerful. By RedBubble / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-— By Skyfox. An interwiew with Judi Taylor Show & tell us about five works on redbubble that have moved or inspired you I could have told you about five times ten but finally chose these five. The endless walk by Geir Floede – This is a profound statement of someone walking in circles. • Mr Baxter's Picture of the Week - Part Three
    by Mr Baxter

Hello World! Because I am a man of routine, it’...

Hello World! Because I am a man of routine, it’s Picture of the Week time again. Every seven days I’ll peruse the recent image uploads and find one that catches my eye, then post it here, write about it and even link to it from my Twitter account. The repetitive but informative bit: / The winning image will be on sale at a 0% markup for the week, and any sales generated in that time will get the artist a 60% margin in RedBubble vouchers. They will also receive a special commemorative certificate and of course exposure, not the sort that gets you arrested though. / / —-—-—- Picture of the Week Champion – Week Three – Matthew Parsons This is crazy, a muted ‘70s postcard, an abstract shape lovefest and a still from a Tim Burton movie rolled into one, with some subtle vignetting to draw you to the eyes. Not that you really need it, they’re MASSIVE. What is that thing? A tug boat? Tug boat builders in Canada have the sort of comedy streak we need to see in our politicians. And in the corner, ‘La Petite’, surely some fine irony. Love the crop, love the angles, love the colour, love the surrealism. That’s a lot of love. Great eye Matthew. —-—-—-- More work from Matthew. / Go show your appreciation. Regards, Mr Baxter – Executive Officer of Writing Fine Words About Fine Pictures —-—-—-- Follow my every exciting move on Twitter. / And add me to your watchlist.

  • Nice and easy…no reflections…nature at its best…a simple early morning dew drop nestling on a clover leaf in my garden. Taken with a Canon EOS 500D and 150mm macro lens FEATURED IN ‘Macro water photography’ / FEATURED IN ‘That one great shot’

  • I’m so glad every now and then it snows heavily in England. Just after stuffing the car into a ditch, through expert test driving on ice, ahem, actually practicing handbrake turns, oops. While deciding how to dig the car out on the ditch in Eaton Bray, Bedfordshire, UK, I noticed these lovely trees. / It was a fair old way into the middle of the field to get the right perspective but I’m glad I did. / I hope you like it. Greeting Cards / Framed Print / Canon 5D, 24-70mm at 57mm, f/9, 1/400 sec, ISO 400. No filters used. Dust and scratches removed in PS.
