From a series of photographs I did for a friend 5 weeks before the birth of her daughter! This photograph was taken using super fast film (3200) and low light conditions. I was going through a grainy stage!! :D / /

In a place as surreal as this, its hard not to day dream. This was taken at an ancient, monastery which was destroyed by Henry the eighth once upon a time. Sort of represents what i was feeling at this time, not this exact moment but this part of my life. Stopping for a second, trying to figure out where wanted to go, how i would get there. Taking a brief moment to reflect.

This was taken at Tennyson Beach, Adelaide (South Australia). The model was incredibly patient during the photo shoot with many surprised locals stopping to check out the semi naked “Sailor Boy”. I’d like to thank the model for his strength and his enthusiasm.

The first day I got my scanner out, after discovering you can take pictures on them, my cat jumped up onto the glass and this was the result! My first scan. as with my other image when solitude is required… this image was taken near a house i used to live in… / this place way my favorite place to be alone i used to find myself wandering through the bush and way down at the bottom of the hill im the middle of victorian native bushland there stood an old pine tree that didnt quite fit… as it turned out this tree became quite known to me i used to find myself here often… / it was / “my place” / somewhere to be alone and just simply be…. featured in Sepia Only / top ten place in sepia-portraits challenge
