Although nature photography is probably my favorite sometimes I see ordinary objects sitting in a particular way and have to take a picture. Rarely do I move objects to compose a picture because I think things in the world are amazing just the way they are- you just have to look at them the right way. I was laying on my family’s old dock at our lake place in the sun and looked over at my flip flops and had to run back to the beach to get my camera for a picture :) I did take what color there was in the dock out in photoshop to focus the eye more on the old blue flip flops. /

He arrived with roses, a bottle of Chateau de Beaucastel 2006, she gave him a long lingering kiss welcoming him into her arms. He placed the roses on the table with the wine beside his gift of love. They had been apart for so long, their passion was overwhelming, the desire inside was too much for both to bear as they tore off their clothes and fell to the floor. A single rose as though plucked from the bunch gently fell landing on the black silky lingerie which was once so near her soft sensual skin, nearby they lay in each others arms their passion spent, so much in Love…..

Taken at Barwon Heads back beach. As a kid/teen I used to come here every summer holidays and spend 2-5 weeks here. Many fond memories. Times change and so do places. I haven’t been here for some years and was surprised at the amount of changes there was. Still a beautiful place!!
