/ Anonymous donation to further my work. / Share my work with friends & family. This is an adaptation of ” View to the Amalfi Coast ” by Carl Fredrik Aagaard of Denmark, 1833-1895. It was commissioned by M. Morris in Dallas, TX who contacted me and asked if I could do a mural on tumbled Italian marble. The 12” x 19” tiles were shipped to me and Ms. Morris and I collaborated via e-mail regarding how she wanted the image portrayed. It was hand painted and airbrushed using acrylic and tile sealer. The finished mural was shipped back to Dallas where it was installed onto a kitchen wall.

/ Anonymous donation to further my work. / Share my work with friends & family. This is an airbrushed and urethane clear-coated driftwood sculpture. It is basically as I found it on the shore of Sam Rayburn Reservoir here in East Texas. Apart from cleaning, sanding and painting it, and adding a stem and base for it to stand on, it is unchanged from the shape nature gave it. I personified it due to it’s appearance of having arms and the root that goes out looking like smoke from a torch. The airbrushed red spot on it represents a heart which is where I believe creativity comes from. The sculpture represents to me the creativity given us by God and which exists in each person, burning like a torch. The airbrushing and personifying of this piece of driftwood represents my appreciation that God shares with us, His own creations, the joy of making things and enjoying their beauty, each in our own way.
