At one point a few years ago one of my clients came into my studio / gallery, saw the original hanging on the wall, and liked it so much he asked if I could airbrush one like it on the hood of his show Camaro. These are soley designed in a vector program. I converted these to EPS files that my Ioline LP3700 plotter could read. I have run some of these designs out on it using acrylic markers in the pen holder. Each piece results in a true one of a kind piece of art. I will post some photos of the plotter run pieces in the side bar some time future. In the mean time the Geometrics series will look great printed by RB! This is an adaptation of ” View to the Amalfi Coast ” by Carl Fredrik Aagaard of Denmark, 1833-1895. It was commissioned by M. Morris in Dallas, TX who contacted me and asked if I could do a mural on tumbled Italian marble. The 12” x 19” tiles were shipped to me and Ms. Morris and I collaborated via e-mail regarding how she wanted the image portrayed. It was hand painted and airbrushed using acrylic and tile sealer. The finished mural was shipped back to Dallas where it was installed onto a kitchen wall.
