Bubble View / Gallery View / One of My Top Sellers The original is a hand-painted enamel on hardboard with airbrush highlights. It was photographed and slightly retouched in a photo program. At one point a few years ago one of my clients came into my studio / gallery, saw the original hanging on the wall, and liked it so much he asked if I could airbrush one like it on the hood of his show Camaro. I was happy to get the commissioned work and airbrushed this art onto his car hood with one of the changes being to put a Chevy logo on the earrings of the woman in the art on his car hood. !! / Ms. Scalene on the Camaro hood in the workshop setting on easel poles. • Visualization • Corresponding T-Shirt This work featured on 5-14-08 / Now she’s a star in a video! This is an adaptation of ” View to the Amalfi Coast ” by Carl Fredrik Aagaard of Denmark, 1833-1895. It was commissioned by M. Morris in Dallas, TX who contacted me and asked if I could do a mural on tumbled Italian marble. The 12” x 19” tiles were shipped to me and Ms. Morris and I collaborated via e-mail regarding how she wanted the image portrayed. It was hand painted and airbrushed using acrylic and tile sealer. The finished mural was shipped back to Dallas where it was installed onto a kitchen wall.

  • The ancient buddhist temple of Ta Prohm, east of Angkor Thom, Cambodia. This amazing structure was built in the late 12th and early 13th centuries in the Bayon style. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Ta Prohm has been left in much the same condition in which it was found: the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of Angkor’s most popular temples with visitors (thanks Wikipedia). This temple was used as a location for filming of the movie Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. The tree in this shot is, I believe, a silk-cotton tree (Ceiba Pentandra). Please correct me if I’m wrong! That’s me centre-field. I set up the shot then got my wife, Carol, to click the shutter.
