DAFFODIL Best viewed large. / DAFFODIL is the common name for all members of the genus Narcissus, and its use is recommended by the ADS at all times other than in scientific writing. “Narcissus” is the Latin or botanical name for all daffodils. According to most recognized botanists, there are between 40 and 200 different daffodil species, subspecies or varieties of species and over 25,000 registered cultivars (named hybrids) divided among the thirteen divisions of the official classification system. Daffodils are often white or yellow, with an impressive central trumpet. Much strength to those suffering from OCD; I wish you deep breaths and still fingers. Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD): a chronic mental disorder most commonly characterized by intrusive, repetitive thoughts resulting in compulsive behaviors and mental acts that the person feels driven to perform, according to rules that must be applied rigidly, aimed at preventing some imagined dreaded event. In severe cases, it affects a person’s ability to function in every day activities. The disorder is often debilitating to the sufferer’s quality of life. Trichotillomania: a compulsion to pull out one’s own hair.

oil on mahogany / 2, 5×3ft panels *Like any relationship one must compensate for the others weakness. 7 and 13 together create 20, which can be seen as two wholes (two tens). Thirteen is very often seen as an unlucky number and seven is viewed as lucky. This painting demonstrates the give and take of any relationship and reliance of another for perfection.

2D Forever Believe it or not, this is a strange cross-breed of Street Fighter and Silent Hill… / I just started to draw this creature without much thought to my inspiration – then later on, playing Street Fighter 3, it hit me that it’s loosely based upon the putty-like character, Twelve.
