Mixed media on plywood / width 25 cm, height 40 cm, depth 5 cm “Actually, I don’t know really why, but this little assemblage is grown very near to my heart. It brings back so many so many memories to Medinet Habu, a small village on the Westbank of the river Nile. Medinet Habu is build beside a huge ancient temple, and it also is not too fare away from the Valley of the Queens, the Hatshepsut-Temple, the Ramesuem, the Valley of the Kings and the dramatic Theban Mountains. Like Delphi, Luxor, Karnak, Luxor Westbank and – Medinet Habu – is a central point in my life. And to me this little, quick done piece of art shows this all: it’s an understanding without understanding.” Adi
