Perfect gift for those who love gardens, or owns a greenhouse.
Ok, I realize the head doesn’t work that well with the body and rear, so I’m going to try and take another picture of a zebra head hopefully by christmas, but I can’t make any promises. / . / BIG thank you (again!) to Gavin King for making this triptych possible. make sure to check out his redbubble site and comment on his wonderful work! / . / Winter 2007, Reid Park Zoo, Tucson, AZ
I watched this storm front get closer and closer, being accompanied by good light and a break in the clouds I waited on top of this exposed summit and was taken by surprise when it actually hit. One moment calm the next wind, sun and pelting rain with the extreme variance in light that you can see. Featured in National Parks of the World – Dec 2008. Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Northern Territory, Australia. Captured today… I jumped in my trusty old Toyota Landcruiser (Barry) and headed bush to chase this spectacular storm front. It was such an exhilarating adventure! We have now enjoyed several weeks of ongoing storm activity here in the desert. Today’s wild and rainy storms began at around eight this morning. Throughout the day, storm front after storm front has rolled over the desert, bringing with them heavy rain and exhilarating electrical activity. We have endured hail today, strong winds and even a lightning strike which sparked a small blaze in the National Park. And all of these incredible storm sessions were punctuated by bright sunshine and warm temperatures. Wow, I am thoroughly exhausted from following the weather today. I think I have storm-photographing-fatigue. / (A new member of the Elite Storm Chaser Squadron…) Uluru, Central Australia. Monday 24th November 2008. .... I felt a little better knowing there was another exit from the cave, so I turned around to where I have come …. oh my!! what grandeur. A millionaires view filled my eyes with wonder and I had paid nothing to see this magnificent scene. I blinked but it was still there … I wasn’t dreaming, this was real, this image belonged to me and anyone who decided to walk this way. At that moment the earth was a wonderful place, it was a beautiful place … and it was my very special place!!! /
Decided to do a self portrait, a bit scary but worth a go. I never do this so here goes

I so love visiting flower shops in small towns and villages. The owners and designers always do such a marvelous job of creating a welcoming and distinctive store front. PS and Painter
