Being an amature photographer, I was very suprised by all the comments I have received so far on my work. It is a great confidence booster. I have only been on this site a couple of days and it is nice to know that other people like my work other than family and close friends. It is the first time that I have put any of my work on public display. So to all who have commented especially Dairygirl, thankyou all so much for the boost.

So many artists from so many different countries and walks of life brought together by their love of all things creative. I cant believe the amount of good feedback I’ve had! Dear RedBubble – Artist, Imagers, Creators and Photographers, I took up Photoshop about two months ago and this is my first attempt at artistic expression that went all the way from start to finish. I came close to trashing this piece because I suffer from perfection at times, even though it does not exist. I started on this project at the beginning of September for the RedBubble.com “Infinite Future Chaos” challenge. I have spent many nights not really knowing what this would become, let alone what the public would think. Now I am thankful to share this image with the world. To my “WatchListers” there will be more images to come, as I will target my photography and Photoshop skills. Remember this is my first shot at Photoshop. My next task will be to mix my creative expression with the superb Photoshop software. I tend to be a slow creator so be patient and look out for me !-) I will spread my “Visions” one way or another!

i must say, i was a bit scared to upload my artwork here, but i have got only positive feedback for it. Art is personal thing for me, and beginning to show my artwork puts me in a vulnerable place. I thought as there is such amazing talent here, i might have my works criticised in a non-constructive way, but it hasn’t happened yet, so thank you. after getting some good advice in the forums, i am going to re-do some of my ink drawings and keep working on them. i don’t have anyone to give me this kind of advice in the real world so it is wonderful that this place exists.

I’m just writing to let everyone know that I have had the best week since I joined redbubble. I’m very thankful to all the people who have favourited my work, left comments or have started watching me. / I’m most happy about the comments on my photo “Me and Mr Darcy.” I never expected such a warm and wonderful welcome and I’ll be sure to put more of my work on here soon. I’d like to say a big thankyou to everyone who has taken the time to look at my photos! I’ve only been on here a week so far and the support has been great. One of my pictures, Bay of Candles, featured on the RB homepage a few days ago and it wasn’t until after I set up my bubblesite and viewed it there (against a dark background and in a dark room), that I saw it had a green bit of something showing up quite obviously in the bottom right corner. How embarrassing! / My computer and monitor are getting on a bit and probably don’t have the best resolution etc, and as I’ve never actually printed the photo I didn’t know it was there. I couldn’t see it! I’ve since fixed it as best I can. So sorry to anyone who may have been disappointed, and if you ever notice anything like that in one of my photos please feel free to point it out. I won’t be offended. Thanks again / Bree

So, thankyou to everyone who has looked at my work so far. I thank everyone who comments on my photos personally, but of course I cannot do that for people who just pass through. I am flattered at how many people have favourited my work too. If I have not yet thanked you, I am doing that here :-) What I have been most shocked at is that the last 2 days, I have uploaded work and had instant comments and favouritings! Amazing. THANKYOU :-) Meanwhile, I cannot upload to here, nor to Facebook (although the latter just took about 10 minutes and about 95% of the bar to tell me that!) so I shall leave you with what I have so far, let you know that my lesser works (cell phone images and “cool but not great” shots etc) are posted (and mapped!!!!) at Flickr. Which I can now spell! Yay!!! Take care everyone and feel free to drop me a line if you are passing through! :-)
