Hurray! I have sold this original painting at my exhibition- ‘Cosmopolitan, Baileys or Midori?’ along with 3 more of my works! Exhibition on till June 20th, 2009 This painting tells the story of a poor mother selling her very young daughter to a man who tells the mother the girl will sell flowers in Thailand and send the money back home to her. The man betrays the mother. The mother never sees or hers from her daughter again. / The girl is the flower that he sells. He takes away her name and gives her a number- 44. / This is not the true story- I was inspired by a photo of a Thai prostitute who had the number 44 pinned to her underwear. She looked beyond sad and I wanted to give the girl a story. In the end of the story she is finally rescued, given back her name and set free which is my prayer for her.
A trace of my travel photos… and possibly the prettiest girl in the world.

Canon EOS 30D 24 – 105 zoom / Shooting Date: 29 March 2008 / Tv (Shutter Speed) 1/50 / Av (Aperture Value) 20 / ISO Speed 320 The Angthong National Park was established on 12th November 1980. Koh Ang Thong is an archipelago in the Gulf of Thailand. More than 40 separate islands are spread like green perls in the blue sea. The main islands are Phaluai, Wua Ta Lap, Mae Koh, Sam Sao, Koh Hin Dap, Nai Phut and Koh Phai Luak. The islands belong to the Ang Thong District, of Amphur Samui, in the Province Suratthani.. The national park covers a total area of aprox. 100 sq.km of which about only 18 sq.km is dry land. Most of the islands consist of limestone mountains from 10 to 400 meters above sea level. The National park does not enclose the entire island chain, its jurisdiction covers only 82% of the total area.

Chatuchak Market – Bangkok / ...this dude was selling some cool tee’s after all the other stalls had shut up shop off a rack in the carpark. Bought one from him for 200bht and then just asked if I could take a couple of shots of him which he was very cool about. I think he was pretty keen that I got the mohawk from side on as he turned his head twice between shots – left and right, and that was it. He told me that he was into photography himself so I got his email address and sent this shot to him the other day…his reply was – “I GOT YOUR PIX. I LIKE YOUR PIX”
