My Wonders You look up at me with a toothpaste grin / and I’m wondering / how I ever created something / as perfect as you / with big brown bear eyes / that twinkle / like lights in a winter window. Would it matter if I wanted to hold you for an hour / and not let go / would that be too much? / You run past me / dancing and swirly curls / and i wonder / why I ever deserved / to have someone as gorgeous as you / in my world I wonder / if I ever met you / my heart would still never forget you / because you’re a yearning in my soul.
