  • A Parents Prayer for their sick child. / (2 Samuel 12:22) David answered: While he was still alive, I went without food and cried because there was still hope. I said to myself, “Who knows? Maybe the LORD will have pity on me and let the child live.” I am an Irish born Missionary living in London I spend much time living with the Kambari tribe, I get to know first hand the challenges they face each day just to survive. I also have the privilege of capturing not only hunger, sickness and often death, but the more happy occasions. This is Grace, and when I first met Grace in April 2007, she was suffering from Chronic Malnutrition, adn intestinal worm infection. • Visit my Africa Mission Charity Website: http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Ungwa/Fadda Village is very remote and many children here are disabled by Rickets. rickets is a disease that causes limbs to bow and leaves the child with chronic pain. Here you see Leah praying to God before she starts her daily task of caring for her younger brother and sister, John and Sarah. / Her father died shortly after our last visit in December 2007. Mother is sick. James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. In the midst of so much suffering, Jesus is always there to comfort, heal and strengthen. Like me, Leah draws strength and peace from her heavenly Father as She talks to him in Jesus name. There is no greater Love, or deeper heart of compassion than Gods heart toward all people, regardless of their Race, Color or background. To me He is my reason for living and my inspiration to help those in need. This is why I and the small team of unpaid volunteers work around the clock to help children like Leah and her family. • [portrait taken in Natural Light] : 16/11/2008 [AS IS] I was walking from one village to the next, in Remote Nigeria. one of the team noticed this young girl following us for some time. I stopped and spoke to her through an interpretor. We learned that she was 13 years old and caring for three younger Sisters. As she told us here story, I Felt compelled to return to her village. There we met her three younger sisters in the most extreme poverty. Both Parents were dead and no other living relatives. We spoke to the village Chief and the elders who pleaded with us to help the family. We did, as God lead us to and blessed her with clothing, and the following day we sent two of our field workers to meet with her and now they have a small regular income from our mission funds. UPDATE 5-8-2009. Mary is now at School. We pay her school fees adn her three younger sisters are well and happy. We need help with Susan, aged 9. She wants to go to school also. We need help with school fees, uniform adn text books. Can you help? will you Help? • Standing alone late evening as a witness to the Testimony of Time this sheer cliff face, battered, scared stood a casuality to the erosion of time and its environment around it. If we could see over the decades what it had witnessed it certainly would be breathtaking to say the least. The Grand Canyon is a steep-sided gorge carved by the Colorado River in the United States in the state of Arizona. It is largely contained within the Grand Canyon National Park — one of the first national parks in the United States. President Theodore Roosevelt was a major proponent of preservation of the Grand Canyon area, and visited it on numerous occasions to hunt and enjoy the scenery. A map of the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas, circa 1908.Longstanding scientific consensus has been that the canyon was created by the Colorado River over a six million year period. The canyon is 277 miles (446 km) long, ranges in width from 4 to 18 miles (6.4 to 29 km) and attains a depth of over a mile (1.83 km) (6000 feet). Nearly two billion years of the Earth’s geological history have been exposed as the Colorado River and its tributaries cut their channels through layer after layer of rock while the Colorado Plateau was uplifted. The “canyon began in the west, followed by another that formed in the east. Eventually, the two broke through and met as a single majestic rent in the earth some six million years ago. The merger apparently occurred where the river today bends to the west, in the area known as the Kaibab Arch. Photo taken by Canon IXUS Thankyou to the ‘Rocks and Bones Group” for placing ‘Testimony of Time” as the most Popular photo in the ‘Wake Up” Competition,.........Very honoured and Greatly apprecaited…And congratulations for all who entered for their stunning work:):)

  • Thank you to all of you who have donated and prayed for little Grace. She is now in good health and has made a great recovery. Praise God, I am so happy right now. Grace and other children who suffer so much Inspires me to work 12-14 hours per day sharing their plight with others and fund-raising.. I have not had the good fortune of ever having a salary for what I do. but God rewards me in many other ways. To see a child tat would have died now live and smile is wonderful. To empower the poor with more than just hope is what I live and work for. In Tunga/Zuga village, a remote village in Kebbe state Nigeria, there are so many children who are without ANY source of help. The village has no source of clean water, since their well collapsed in 2006. Intestinal worm infections, river Blindness, Chronic Diarrhoea, Malnutrition and other preventable diseases are killing and disabling many. We are making a difference and with your Prayers, Donations and support we can not only save their lives, refurbish the old school adn give them education. If it had not been for your prayers and donations for Grace, she would certainly have died. I am deeply thankful to you all. We can make a difference. / Please continue to donate and support these precious people and this mission. You are part of Gods end time plan. • PLEASE READ THIS. Taken outside Chennai,Tamil Nadu state. South India. my passion in life is to help as a many poor and outcast people in the world as I can. I am not alone here. With te help of many friends here on Rb we are making a real difference. / http://www.philadelphia33.org/ There are 40 Million gypsies in India. I am working with the most abused tribe called Narikoravars tribe. pronounced [ Nari-Kor-Avars] just over 4 million and very little help. Only a handful of Churches, 3 in all, and one small Charity work with them. They are Outcast because of Hindu religion and just because they belong to this tribe. Treated, lower than dogs, they are beaten, stoned and chased from towns and villages. They have no Land, and little property. We are now working with these in small settlements. They have no toilets, clean water, no healthcare, no education as they cannot afford the school fees, uniforms and text books. those that can are often chased from schools. Many are Christian, yet the Churches have failed them. They hunt and make beads. If they don’t sell them they go hungry. THIS IS JUST A SAMPLE. I WILL UPLOAD MANY MORE IN A NEW SITE HERE ON RB SOON. WITH FULL DETAILS AND REPORT. They are in urgent need of Clothing, finance for water pump, well, med’s, school. • PLEASE READ THIS. TAKEN IN NATURAL LIGHT I am an Irish born missionary and founder of Philadelphia Mission a British Charity. My passion in life is to reach as many children living in extreme poverty with practical tools and help to live healthy and productive like. My inspiration and motivation is from God adn his great love for the poor and outcast. This is a NARI-KOV-AVARS Gypsy girl. I took this Photograph while ministering in a Gypsy camp just outside Chennai in Tamil Nadu State. India. She was following me and the team as we went through the settlement. I was battling 40c heat and drinking bottled water a lot. One of the gypsy pastors shouted at her to be quiet, which really upset me. I asked him why he was shouting at her and what she had said. He told me she was begging and wanted water, adn he told her off. I knelt down and looked at her deeply in her eyes, and ask my interpreter to tell her, i would like to give her a bottle of water. I had several in by backpack. AS I handed her the water, Pastor Alwin took this Photograph with my camera, as I was talking with her. he was right behind me. So the expression on her face is what I would have seen. There is no clean water in the gypsy camp, and water is very scarce now that its dry summer. What really touched my heart was that she went and called her older sister and shared the water with her. These gypsies are treated adn called outcasts, because they are under Hindu Religion classed as such. They are beaten cheated and often chased from towns and villages. No one in this campo went to school, as they had no money for school fees. there is no medical care and no toilets anywhere in the camp. Neglected by locals and government alike. We and THE INDIA NEW LIFE GYPSY MISSION CHURCH are the only ones now helping the 4000000 NARI-KOV-ARARS gypsies. There are a total of 40.000000 gypsies in India, and almost all get help, except the NARI-KOV-AVARS tribe. We need your Prayers and Help. • PLEASE READ THIS. Taken in a Gypsy settlement close to Kallakurachi. India. Some of you will know me through my Writings and photographs of Extreme poor in Remote and Rural villages in Africa, and correspondence here on RB. God called me in 1994 to go and share his Message with the poor, disadvantaged and outcast, I have with great passion and little Financial support being doing what he has commissioned me to do. [My Passion in life is to reach as many poor and disadvantaged in Remote and rural villages with the Gospel of Jesus, and provide practical help and care]. I have with the help, Prayers and support of precious people worldwide been able to not only share Gods message of salvation, but provide Tools, Clothing, Bibles, Some School fees, Seeds, Medicines and other needful things to empower them to live better lives. Recently here on RB in the past two years, God has blessed me with many new precious friends. I thank God for you all. In Uganda during 2001-2003, God used me to expose Children being sold by extremely desperate and poor families, to those who had money and who they thought would give their child a better life. I detest this, yet in most cases, not all, the parents or carers could no longer provide for the child. With their government unable, or unwilling to help, they look to those outside their community and tribe for an answer. In India where I and the Philadelphia Charity are now working with NARI-KOR-AVARS gypsy tribe, I came across several cases of children for sale. I personally have been offered children. One for sale and one to take home to Britain and care for her. The reason why I am sharing this with you is that the above Photograph is of one such child. Some of you will experience feelings of Unbelief that this happens, and others strong emotions of anger and disgust. I am asking you to have a thought for the Mother of this child and pray for her. In extreme poverty, Outcast from Society and treated lower than a dog, almost everywhere she goes. She has tried her very best to provide food and shelter. She is sick in body and wept genuine tears of sorrow, as she asked me buy her child for for 5000 Rupees = $100. Please help us to help these precious parents and carers with tools, seeds, Clothing, income, practical help, so tey never be in the position of giving away or selling their child as a last resort to saving that child and giving it a better future. This is happening not just in India or Africa, but in other countries also. Some sell their children purely for selfish gains. But I have not yet met any. those I met are heartbroken and doing something that must be unthinkable to any of us . 100% of all money raised from sale of any of my art, or donations made via our charity website goes to help extreme poor in Africa and India. • Taken along the road to Lallakurachi, India. like Nena, Many NARI-KOR-AVAR and Vaghiri gypsy Children are in great need. Because of the Caste system in India, these gypsies are classed as unclean, untouchables and Outcast. Most Line Nena have never gone to school. No Money for school fees, Uniforms and text books are just one reason. The second is that many are teased, bullied, taunted and made not welcome. Denied in most cases basic medical care, and help, they have no land of their own to farm. in the camps, there are no toilets, open sewers, little clean water, and many children are naked, as the parents cannot afford cloths. There is only two organisation working with NAVI-KOR-AVARS Indian gypsies in the Kallakurachii region. [The New Life Indian Mission], a native Indian Pentecostal Church which is seriously underfunded. The other is myself and the Philadelphia Mission, a UK registered charity. Nena is a born again Christian as is many in the NARI-KOR-AVARS tribe. Yet few will help them. Please help us to help thes precious children. Pray earnestly for them and us. • PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION. [AS IS} / I am a missionary, born in Northern Ireland and living in London. my passion in life is to help the poor in rural and isolated villages in Africa and India. Abhijeet in Hindu language means “one who is victorious, a star”. She certainly lives up to her name. 3 years old and already has faced abuse, and hunger. She was close to death and in much pain. Abijeet is one child we rescued through The INDIAN NEW LIFE MISSION, based in India. Her smile melted my heart and as I was told her story I could not help give God thanks for the few Indian Christians that reached out to her. With little money, they took her into the Orphanage, where now she is cared for. I now have sponsored Abijeet and for only £10 per month, she is fed, clothed and will attend a full education when she is old enough. I do not get financial funding from any Church, My own income is little. But I made my mind up a long time ago to share what God has blessed me with with the poor. I have not gone hungry, nor my family. I rent my home, and drive a car. My children are all educated and blessed by God. I have lacked nothing, because blesses the sower. Gods burning Love and Passion for the outcast and poor burns deep within my heart, and hopefully can be seen throgh my life and camera lens. Abijeet is a shining star and a true testimony of what Love and sharing can do. Please Pray for me, that I can bless many more suffering children like Abijeet. Strengthen my arm in Gods mission to reach the hurting of this world with his love and care. Pray and do what the Lord lays on your heart. You will become richer for it. • http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Jyotika in Hindi means [light] Jyotika is from the NARIK_KAR_AVARS gypsy tribe and lives in a Gypsy camp on the outskirts of Kallakapurom town. India. she has never gone to school because her parents cannot afford the school fees, uniform and text book. It costs £70 = $130 to cover a whole years education. These gypsy people are descendants of the Romany Gypsies. But here in India They are Classed as the outcast and Untouchables by Hindu religion. They live in camps where there is no clean water, Little food and no Sanitation. They have no land, little possessions and live in make shift houses and tents made from sticks and plastic sheets. Each day they make one of bead necklace and only get around £0.15 or $0.30. this is not enough to feed their family well, and there is nothing left for education or medical care. They are chased from towns and even hospital. Jyotika can however go to school and have a great future. Our Partner organisation based in Kallakurachi India, is the only organisation working with these NARI _KAR_AVARS, except Our partner, THE INDIAN NEW LIFE MISSION. • PLEASE TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO READ THIS. I am an Irish artist and missionary working with extreme poor in Africa and India. In this one camp 52 children suffer from Intestinal worm infection, adn te death rate is very high. This is due to lack of clean water. The is Akuti an Indian gypsy girl aged 11 years old.. Her name means princess and she really is a Gypsy princess. but she like almost all Nara_Kar-Avars gypsy children are treated with contempt, rejection and denied even the basics of life. To be born a gypsy means under Hindu religion to be in the lowest cast system. Known as outcasts and treated as untouchables, Akuti and many millions like her face a life with little hope. She has never gone to school as her parents barely earn enough to feed her, and cannot afford the £70-$130 per year they need for school fees, uniform and text books. My passion and mission in life is to not just Pray and preach to these precious people, but to provide clothing, and the cost of school fees, medical care and provide tools to help them. Philadelphia Mission is a small underfunded, yet effective British charity doing just that in India and Africa. We need you my friend to help us do much more. Become part of this mission today. Sow a seed into the lief of Akuti and other children in real need. ALL MONEY RAISED FROM SALE OF MY ART, DONATED ART AND DONATIONS MADE VIA OUR CHARITY WEBSITE, GOES TO HELP THESE PRECIOUS CHILDREN. • Please read this. [Taken in natural light] I am an Irish born missionary adn Photographer. I also am founder of Philadelphia Mission a British registered charity. My Passion and inspiration comes from a heart touched deeply by Gods Love. Sara is one of 16 children with rickets in this small village. Ungwa/Fada village is certainly one of the poorest I have seen in Kebbe state. Chronic malnutrition, River blindness, Diarrhoea, Intestinal worm infection and the inability to grow enough food have made a big impact on their health. Rickets is a disease caused by Lack of Vitamin [D],. Many children are malnourished and their body does not absorb Vitamins D. C . B. A. We have however through donations made via RB members purchased a water Pump, and now they can irrigate their fields. But they still need fertilizers, tools and good quality seed to grow better food. A Bore well is urgently needed to stop many of the diseases and sicknesses they experience. • I am a missionary and was born in Northern Ireland and now live in London. My passion and inspiration to work and help these precious poor is born from my personal relationship with God. his love and mercy changed my life completely in 1986. 50 of the 64 children from this village have never gone to school. Mary is 12 years old and she cares for her younger brother. She never has gone to school like most in Tunga/Zuga village. I called this photograph “what If”. What if someone paid the £70 -$120. per year for her school fees, uniform and text books?. What if someone wanted to give Mary a future where she could learn to read, write, and what if Mary learned skills that would earn her money and she could help her younger brother also to go to school? / What if Mary had the change to be what she wants to be, a Nurse? What if someone took the what if and made it all possible for her?. ALL MONEY RAISED FROM SALE OF MY ART, AND DONATIONS MADE VIA OUR CHARITY WEBSITE, GOES TO HELP THESE PRECIOUS CHILDREN. • .Please Read this. This really was a special moment for me. I never knew that Lenti and no other children in this village had never seen a Biscuit/cookie before. She looked at it for almost 3 minutes and only began to eat it when she saw a member of our Mission staff eat hers. Lenti is a precious little girl who was very ill when she came to our Mission Centre. medicines alone just could not save her life. We prayed and trusted God to heal her and he did. We Provided lots of Love and High Protein cookies and Multi-vitamins. This gives me so much joy and drives me even harder to raise the funds to save and bless many more Like Lenti. My Passion and inspiration is God given, and although I lack Finance, It has never stopped me blessing these children. This is a success story and with your help we can make many more. We thought it would be a good idea to take a more in depth look at some of our products, for those who are new to RedBubble and as a refresher for bubblers who’ve been with us for a little longer. A great deal of effort goes into chosing products, examining alternative formats and testing the print quality so we can do justice to the great artwork on RedBubble. / / It’s a little known fact that our quest for the best t-shirt quality meant travelling as far as Israel. We wanted to make sure we were getting the best out of the printer so we decided to track down the guy who invented it. As he was so helpful, we thought it was only fair to start our series of product reviews with t-shirts. The RedBubble T-Shirt / Designs by PROM11, Josh Le Good, Chris Wahl, annaOMline and veneer RedBubble T-Shirt designs are printed on 100% cotton American Apparel fabric. American Apparel are are known for their fabric quality and are generous when it comes to the rights of their workers. They’re ‘sweatshop free’ and they’re also committed to implemeting environmentally friendly initiatives and reducing their ecological footprint. / Designs by brettisagirl rubyred, and Steve Leadbeater RedBubble tees are produced using direct to garment printing. We use an industrial version of traditional ink jet printing technology (just like the ink jet printer you have at home). It allows a wide range of colours to be laid down very quickly. / Design by BigFatRobot From people who’ve been won over: When it comes to print-on-demand, the issue that most people are worried about is the quality of the product. Yes, it’s nice that you can upload a design and buy it, or support other artists that are using the platform, but if the tees suck then you might as well not bother. Happily, the tees do not suck, I don’t think you’d be able to guess that they came from a POD company, and they really show off the merits of direct-to-garment printing. The t-shirts themselves are from AA stock, which is so ubiquitous in the industry that it’s getting pretty silly me even telling you about them. – hideyourarms t-shirt blog Thanks for the great shirt, the printing really captured the sharp detail of the design. – PimoSupremo I love the way the coloring and shadowing came out. It looks awesome on the slate colored shirt. I made a great choice. I am so pleased with the quality. Bravo to the printers for doing an excellent job!!! Thank you!! – red addiction I bought some of my own designs from redbubble to check the print qualily, i was blown away with the detail of the print and the t-shirts kick ass too. – veneer / Designs by Nick Ford, Panoramic, Japu and Vicki Isted One last thing, we’ll be giving everyone FREE SHIPPING when you order THREE or more t-shirts for the next couple of weeks. That’s right, we didn’t type wrong, you didn’t read wrong, order three tees and the shipping is zero. Merry Christmas!
