  • When ever i go out in the street with my 200mm VR i usually get one of 2 comments: “You should work for ASIO taking photos” or “People are going to think you are a terrorist”.

  • Help Protect Australia From Errorism! Every piece of misinformation helps “these” people… A very old protest design, or rather bricolage (i.e. relexively appropriated design) I had in one of the student uni newspapers some years ago… There is a seperate design for black t-shirts – check it out by clicking on my designer name…

  • A fire team from the 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Ft. Wainwright, Alaska, sit in an over watch position atop a house in the outskirts of Mosul, Iraq in 2006. The threat of snipers forced these soldiers to sit on chairs to reduce their silhouettes and their possibility of being targeted, while covering other soldiers moving from building to building on the ground looking for terrorists and possible caches of weapons. Mosul, Iraq Circa 2006

  • I thought i would have a crack at a classic image here, rights of passage and all, or something…which is a lot harder than it first looks. The original is so strong and a symbolic image, so yeah i found it hard. I most like the title i came up with for this one. - The quote in the title, ” One mans freedom fighter is another mans terrorist ”, i once heard a friend of mine say about Che Guevara…not sure if it was his quote or not, but either way it always stuck in my head…yes, if i really wanted to know i would google it! / Anyway, i thought i would try and capture those polar opposites here by creating a Rorschach Test (Ink Blot), Grim Reaper vs Che, one looks up, the other looks down, text forward then backwards…you get the gist! - Anyway enjoy!

  • Geddit again?

  • Yep, says it all, especially in this day and age. It seems our rights and liberties are under attack….many photographers these days face stiff questioning from authorities whom have actually no right to do so, in asking us what it is we are photographing, for whom, and why we are. We are stopped, looked at, observed, harassed, detained, questioned, arrested, cited for laws which don’t exist, when all we want to do is capture something we see beautiful. All because many of us are thought to be terrorists….now you can show em exactly what ya think with this shirt!

  • A plot to destroy the world begins with a simple threat. Terror has many faces…this is but one.

  • war monster; soldier, freedom fighter, terrorist one person’s terrorist is another person’s freedom fighter? / is it just to kill one…two, ten, a thousand innocent people for the security, interest, peace, and freedom of a state, a nation, the world. and when this threat is eradicated by killing the enemy, its territory, its infrastructure, its people, and people who just happen to be around. is it the end or will there be another problem? lets make peace, not war

  • As we are nearing the 8th anniversary of 9/11, I wanted to post this shot of Lower Manhattan. I am a bit ashamed to say, that I have not seen the New York City skyline with the World Trade Center Towers. I can only imagine how magnificent it must have looked. We shall never forget!
