Mrs. Flibble said I should shred some confidential stuff, lest it fall into the wrong hands. That would be… er… problematic and embarrassing – and not just for the llamas. Now normally I’m good at shredding, but today I forgot to heed the warning of "shred with a tie and you’re dead". It was going great, but just as I reached for the latest stack of llama sex orgy paperwork, my tie flopped into the diamond cut steel grinding gears of the shredder of death. This is moments before my grizzly end. Splendid. Oooh… I just started a blog: www.idrinkleadpaint.com Strobist stuff: I had a flash, camera left through an umbrella, deliberately set quite high to give the shot a bit more drama. Wide angle lens was in really close for extra distortion. Wanted a Flibble in the headlights sort of death. Ties were hurt in the making of this photograph.

Yep, says it all, especially in this day and age. It seems our rights and liberties are under attack….many photographers these days face stiff questioning from authorities whom have actually no right to do so, in asking us what it is we are photographing, for whom, and why we are. We are stopped, looked at, observed, harassed, detained, questioned, arrested, cited for laws which don’t exist, when all we want to do is capture something we see beautiful. All because many of us are thought to be terrorists….now you can show em exactly what ya think with this shirt!

The classic tale of science gone wrong, wrapped up in a B-Movie. Who can forget the immortal line at the end: ‘If thine eye offends thee, pluck it out’. Ray Miland at his best—either this or Dial M for Murder. Certainly better than all those times he appeared in Columbo as an incompetent killer.

The Twin Towers WTC in New York City photographed in September 2000. Nothing more needs to be said except that they were iconic and nobody will ever forget the outrage of the following year. I do not support the war on terror as it is happening but this is not the site for political debate. I loved their symmetery and the incredible sense of mans achievement when one simply looked up. The meaning of the word skyscraper multiplied by two. Questions regarding the attacks and our world as we know it. / http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/main.htm
