  • This is a card designed specifically to promote art on RedBubble and is sold without any markup. It is sold in such a way along with some other cards or other art work!

  • It looks like a “studio setting” but the photo was taken right on the cross-country ski trail where River pulls me on skis. She still has little flakes of snow on her nose tip to “prove” it! It’s the second time I tried to use a little effect – just to make her look a little more “civilized” and serious than she is! :) So all being said and done, I’m sure River likes to have the proceeds of the sale of her profile be helpful to nature and her friends in the wild. :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Nature Canada.

  • It was a freezing day while River and I were in the nature park. The trees looked cold but stood tall and strong. This is the same image as the first “Winter Blues” after Gigi told me that I should try a darker color for it. So it qualifies as my third try on this “effect thing” thanks to all the instructions and guidance from my “mentor” on this matter! I guess one could say that I love anything that has to do with nature including the living beings, the woods, the trees, the rivers and streams, and the mountains…. In a way, the trees represent longevity even though my “rational mind” knows they don’t live forever – my “passion” towards the trees is in its “illusion” of the ever lasting life, or perhaps what it always gives back to the earth in living or in death. :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Nature Canada.

  • The fawn, who has been River’s best friend through the spring, summer and fall. One wonderful morning she came out of the woods and posed for the camera with a BIG smile! :) That made our day – both River’s and mine!

  • This is the little foot bridge around the forest I frequent with River. It was shot after the first snow this winter. Yesterday someone wanted to purchase this piece at a local gallery but she wanted me to give her more choices of framing and I finally came up with this version and she (along with her children) love it as her 12-year-old called it “The Magic Ice Bridge”. So I thought perhaps some of you would like it too! :)

  • The little shelter in the middle of the woods reminds me the peaceful and yet ever so intimate life of “The Little House on the Prairie”. :)

  • River and I biked/ran along the old highway 512 in Renfrew County and we encountered this “shed complex” that has obviously lived a long and perhaps difficult life! Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

  • This is my first encounter with a doe at the first sign of spring, after a long winter and she is ready to be air “born”. :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

  • River and I saw this old general store on the old highway 512 just east of Killaloe, Ontario in a sunny spring day!

  • This is a little park along the old highway 60 in Combermere (Ontario, Canada) bathed at the last brilliant sunlight of the day!

  • This is my first long dialogue with a doe this spring. The ground is still frozen and some snow remains but she is ready to EAT, and yet she is in no hurry to turn away from the camera before I could get a decent shot of her beautiful figure. :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

  • This group of cabins would absolutely be my “dream home” if the owner would ever let me have them. :)

  • At this point I am not sure Spring would ever come so perhaps the thaw around the tree over the lake was just some kind of “tease”. :)

  • Just before the last light of the day disappeared, River and I got to the edge of the forest and she had a good run at the other side of the fence! :)

  • This is another shed along the same road that River and I could stay over night! :) :) :)

  • River loved the woods, any large piece of forests where she could find foxes, deer, moose and wolves, or even a piece of woods just has trees would make her heart “leap”. :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

  • My friend Clark made this tree face that I thought was interesting.

  • The brother and sister recognized River from last fall and they both came to say “hello”. The “brand-new” fawn followed suit as her brother and sister seemed to know us and thought of us as “friends”. :) Before they circled my overjoyed dog and they all ran off together, they first make sure that they got their spring morning “family photo” taken. :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

  • The weeks-old fawn kept trying to lick the “itch” on her new coat. :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

  • The fawn was experiencing some difficulties as all “yummy” treats are high-up. :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

  • The fawn was watching the squirrel intently, wishing he could come down from the high branches and play with her! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

  • The young buck showed his serious face for his spring “passport photo” as his new antlers have not yet out. :)

  • This is my favorite doe, who posed for us last fall, for many many pictures! She gave birth to a few more fawns this spring, who have become River’s “new best friends”. She is just as proud and pretty as last year!
