The seaside town of Morecambe has the best outlook of any coastal resort in England, looking over Morecambe Bay towards the English Lake District and, whilst the town itself has become run down over the years, great efforts have been made to make the promenade worthy of the natural beauty. / The Tern Project brought together various artists to create a fascinating celebration of the internationally important estuary for bird-life and maritime tradition. The statue of Eric Morecambe, one of the finest comedians to walk the Earth and son of the town, brings hordes of people to the promenade. / It is hoped that this calendar reflects a part of this worthwhile project.
