Acrylic on board, this is part of my Ten Doctors series of paintings. This is the first of the set, Tom Baker, the legendary Fourth Doctor.
Rural Purple Martin House in early spring.
Another of many old Tennant Houses located in the area where i live.
Well, speaks for itself really, the hottest Doctor yet, Ten! Played by the yummy-licious David Tennant. grin swoon faint thud
This old Tenant House has a long history, not only the farming part but was said to have been a major stop for the Underground Railroad used by slaves headed north during the Cival War.There is a spectacular corn crib close to it but it has been completely overgrown, this is one of the sites that is on the list to be preserved.Located in Rural Southeast Virginia.
David Tennant is the latest in a long line of ‘Dr Who’ character-playing actors. But not for long! A new recruit is being fashioned as I type! He’s rather cute though, don’t you think? / This image was done with charcoal and pastels. Framed prints, posters and canvas wraps available from bigemptywall.co.uk
Devils Marbles are a collection of gigantic rounded granite boulders. / Spinafex grass.
It’s David Tennant in Ink Rain. See if you can find something not Dr. Who related. / / /

Tennant Lake Lookout Tower finished in position 4 of Top Ten in Relections of Timber in Water of Timber and Water Featured in Neighborhoods May-’09 / Featured in Rural Around the Globe May-’09 Nikon D70 Located in the town of Ferndale, WA, this tower is a great place to check out the local wildlife sanctuary. There is also a Fragrance Garden, that is wonderful to walk thru and a boardwalk that meanders all thru out the area. A wonderful place to see many different types of birds.

click on feature button to see group — There isn’t one lot of ‘Devils Marbles’ on the site (Devils Marbles Conservation Reserve) ... there are hundreds! I tried a couple of different angles to show the different formations. Taken our road trip from Melbourne to Darwin via the Great Ocean Road and the red centre on my new DSLR (Nikon D90 – Tamron 17-50mm 2.8). — / Wikipedia has a good summary on the process of how the rocks were formed. Basically, they’re not separate rocks, but the result of millions of years of erosion (which also explains the texture on them). So, there aren’t just one set of Devils Marbles – but many! It’s really incredible! See my other Devils Marbles pic to contrast the differences… / (copied from my reply to a comment opposite) — Other shots of the Australian Landscape / click on images to view / — N.B. Nikon D70 Another lake with beautiful Mt. Baker in the background. Whatcom County of WA state.
Nikon D70 applied Topaz filter For those who are interested in seeing what this “filter” can do, compare this one to the original before I used the “filter” – Tennant Lake Creek before applied topaz filter
In the middle of ‘nowhere’ (about 100km south of Tennant Creek) we stopped to admire the Devils Marbles (Devils Marbles Conservation Reserve). It was the middle of the day, sun beating down (insert cliches here) and this small waterhole was next to the path. It never ceases to amaze me how nature makes inhospitable areas wildlife friendly (in this case, frogs! [not cane toads]). Taken our road trip from Melbourne to Darwin via the Great Ocean Road and the red centre on my new DSLR (Nikon D90 – Tamron 17-50mm 2.8. 4×6 inches, watercolor and gouache, 2009. A portrait of David Tennant in his role as the tenth Doctor Who. David had played the Doctor since 2005 and bows out at the end of 2009.
I came up with a funny little idea to have the Doctor and Rose trying to get into the Tardis, but the Doctor not being able to remember the correct key.
