We had been watching a nest of bluetits for a few days. One morning one of the neighbours came running to the house to tell us that the eggs had hatched open. These babies were only about a day old – born around the same time as the baby goose. It was a village full of newborns. I took loads of photos and this may turn into a journal along with Mrs Gooses’s Baby.
