A worker at Sandakan Airport, Borneo, deep in conversation amidst a stained glass wall of colour and under a red bubble to boot! I love the quiet moments that can transform into something else when you travel to foreign lands. The worker becomes an integral part of the landscape: blending seamlessly to form a life mosaic.

Red, White and Blue Phoneboxes. How Patriotic!
WHAT’S YOUR JONES. WHAT BLOWS YOUR DRESS UP. ARE YOU A MORNING PERSON OR CAN YOU ROLL. UP AT THE CRACK OF DAWN, OR ARE YOU TAKING PICTURES OF CRACK HEADS ON YOU WAY HOME AT DAWN. I DISRESPECT NO HUMAN FOR CAUSE, OR EFFECT, AND NEVER EVER TO FRONT. NEVER. EVER. NOT IN MY LIFE. THIS IS NOT A “YARN” TO ACCENT MY ART. TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT, AND IT IS SURE TO FOLLOW. DISRESPECT PEOPLE AND YOU CAN BE SURE THAT ON THE TRAVELS THAT YOUR MOUTH TAKES YOU, THE WRONG PERSON AND YOUR LACK OF DECORUM WILL CROSS PATHS. IT WILL BE THE SECOND TO LAST JOURNEY THAT YOU WILL TAKE. GUESS WHERE THE LAST ONE WILL BE TO. POINT OF THIS ‘CODE OF THE STREET’ POEM. EARLY OR LATE, WHY WOULD ANYONE DISRESPECT, ANOTHER HUMAN BEING IN THE FIRST PLACE. / cannon5D / 28-105 / 1250 iso / no flash / -1 ex
A modern communications tower in a dark sepia tone.
Looking up through a skylight at this abandoned stately home you can see the remnants of a telephone hanging from the frame, surrounded by the ashen ceiling from where there has been a fire in this room.

A beautiful March sunset brilliantly reflected on a rain flooded rural Milford, Illinois country road. A day or two earlier the road was impassable. Phone Box In Alport Village.Derbyshire.UK Photo Express Colour Edited. The red telephone box, a public telephone kiosk designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, is a familiar sight on the streets of the United Kingdom, Malta, Bermuda and Gibraltar, and despite a reduction in their numbers in recent years, red boxes can still be seen in many places and current or ex-British Colonies around the world. The colour red was chosen to make them easy to spot. /
