Call me…Call me NOW!!
Kingston upon Thames – Surrey / One of the more unusual sights in Kingston is several disused red telephone boxes that have been tipped up to lean against one another in an arrangement resembling dominoes. This sculpture by David Mach was commissioned in 1988 as part of the landscaping for the new Relief Road, and is called Out of Order.
[foh-bee-uh] –noun. a persistent, irrational fear of a specific object, activity, or situation that leads to a compelling desire to avoid it. [Origin: 1780–90; extracted from nouns ending in -phobia] —Synonyms aversion, hatred. / Phonophobia -noun. a fear of sounds, noise, and one’s own voice; telephonophobia – fear of the telephone ringing, sound of the phone ringing.
My first t-shirt design using one of my most popular photographs. This image of a classic London telephone box was taken near the Embankment tube stop. I removed all the color in the image and then by hand brushed the B&W layer away exposing just the vivid spot color of the red booth using photoshop. My best selling image now available as a t-shirt design! More photos from Britain

Deviant Art Anticipation can blind judgment, dreams can obscure reality; when you realize certain things cannot be found in life twice, is a new fantasy ride still worth the asking price?... It is the winding, more difficult roads I’m told that lead somewhere in life beyond the strife of everyday life and you can actually gain something in return for your efforts even if this place has no rain to make the journey wash away the monotony of traveling through nothing just to seek out something… —-—-—-—-—-—-—— / LIMITED EDITION – ONLY 10 PRINTS PER PHOTO WILL EVER BE PRINTED. Currently residing in Krugersdorp, South Africa – born March 10, 1977 and as of yet not left the shores of Africa. I go through most days either with a like or dislike for many things that happen on the continent but I can never say that Africa isn’t a very fascinating and unique place to live in. self-taught student of life always trying to do things the wrong way round and although being introduced to photography at an early age, I have only recently decided that this medium should supersede anything else I have done to date. Rather than trying create something via sketches or paint, life already presents too many creative opportunities if I should only choose to look and see it once I venture out into it with my camera. As I refuse to leave my home without my camera and also I have come to realize that everyday regardless of what I think will happen life surprises me in many ways and it’s this unexpected turn of events that I want to capture and showcase in a unique way to whomever views and buys my art. Simply put, I capture life as it happens at that particular moment when it will be most memorable and tell a story even if it seems none is to be had – creating something out of nothing in life, both a challenge and equally intriguing to myself seeing what I photographed when I sometimes have only split second to react without the comforts and repeatability of in-studio work. With many hundreds more photos in future, I urge if not plead you to follow my work as I progress. Monotony and repetition in theme is not part of my photography – Titles and my own abstract quotes are as important as the photo itself although I do want individuals to have the freedom to interpret it in their own way as all of us have different outlooks and life experiences to call upon when it comes to the very tricky definition of “what is art?” and what to make of it once you see and experience it. —-—-—-—- Photos are only printed on canvas and limited to 10 per photo and never to be re-released or printed on any other medium (poster, photo paper etc.) or at different sizes. The canvas prints are created to be mounted side by side to form a larger ‘landscape’ series of photos – I want to promote collectibility and fulfills my artistic vision to create something different in a new and exciting way / and any number of different photos can be mixed and mounted next to each other to suite taste but even if only one is bought I’m sure it will look equally interesting as well. A0 (1184×841mm) ready to hang, corrugated plastic in front and back to serve as both a backing for the canvas and to prevent punch through from the rear. Hessian material further covers the back and in the middle is another canvas print with the necessary artist validation details hand signed such as; Self-portrait, signature & full name, number of the print, date of release, title and of course the abstract quote I write for each and every one of my artworks to somehow try and give my view and perspective of how I see the photo and what it makes me ‘feel’ looking at it – a clue to how I view the world if you will. Mounted example photo of 4 canvasses from the front as reference; / Canvas Front Canvas artist validation – back of canvas as reference; / Canvas Back I will advise at which number the print stands at and if it rolled over from 1/10 to 2/10 etc. I will let the buyer know. However, with only 10 prints ever, every single one should rather be viewed as valuable as the first or lower numbered prints…it is after all a very limited amount which does not run into the hundreds or thousands which would dilute your investment. As I have just started to release my work for sale and I’m unable to give exact and full delivery details but I will pursue the best options in the following days and re-update with needed info. I can however say that protecting the canvases for shipment will be done in a more than generous fashion, even perhaps going overboard with the protection as long as I myself and the buyer is assured that it will get to it’s destination 100% intact and without any damage – you pay for the art, not to open and be mesmerized with scratches in my opinion. Please also bear in mind that you as the buyer are As South Africa due to regulatory restrictions from the South African Revenue Services SARS – cannot receive payment from PayPal or Google Checkout (although we can however send money out of the country as irony…) I would like to include that only T/T telegraphic bank transfer or ‘wire transfer’ as it also called is the only option I can accept as payment and unfortunately this is not the speediest or most convenient option. *IMPORTANT** / It takes 14 days for the canvas to be ready after payment has been received – printing is done via a professional printing lab not by myself. This includes; professionally stretching the canvas over a custom made frame, allowing archival ink to properly dry before applying protective coats etc. unfortunately these steps cannot be rushed unless I pre-print photos and have them available for immediate shipping before a sale but this is rarely the case. Bodie Ghost Town in the Seirra Nevada Mountains in Eastern California. This 1800’s Gold town once had a thriving population of 10,000 people. It was a true wild western town with gun fights, saloons and a huge redlight district.

This image was featured in the group, JPG Cast-Offs on January 17, 2009. Although many think this is a black and white image with selective color, it is actually a color image taken on a stark, wintry day in northern Vermont If the phone doesn’t ring, it’s me.” – song title by Jimmy Buffett Here are a couple more of my favorite quotes: I don’t answer the phone. I get the feeling whenever I do that there will be someone on the other end. -Fred Couples Marriage is like a phone call in the night: first the ring, and then you wake up. -Evelyn Hendrickson ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Please don’t copy or download this image.
