This photo was taken using a Canon EOS 350D, handheld. The view was so breathtaking , I couldn’t not take the shot. I chose to include the rocks in the foreground to show a bit more interest and add a bit more depth to the image. / Image was sharpened a little using Photoshop. / / My camera settings were as follows: F-stop 5.6 / Shutter Speed 1/320sec / ISO 100 / Lens 18mm, with Polarising filter. / Canon EOS 350D. / / Camera was hand-held. Shot taken kneeling VERY low to the ground. / / Sold as a mounted print to a mystery buyer. / / /

Situated on the shores of Lake Tekapo, NZ is the Church of the Good Shepherd, which, in 1935, was the first church built in the Mackenzie Basin. The church at Lake Tekapo was designed by Christchurch architect R.S.D. Harman, based on sketches by a local artist, Esther Hope. The church is arguably one of the most photographed in New Zealand, and features an altar window that frames stunning views of the lake and mountains. July 2008. /

Totally unchanged, this photo was taken early evening over Lake Tekapo NZ, the colourings were not this colour, but my camera obviously decided it preferred blues! I really do not know how the image turned out this way.
