  • Going back to places I have been over and over before. Different tides reveal formations not seen before which is an incentive to visit the place over and over again…I am now looking forward to the low pressure system currently developing…interesting days ahead

  • Sometimes you can tell what a kid is looking at by the expression he wears. When you get that combination of love, happiness and slighty wary humour, it has to be Dad. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——-

  • An old photo but I thought I’d dig it out of the archives for you. This is a young Amur Tiger named Zambar (left) admiring his father (Gamin)’s nice sharp gnashers. The next moment Zambar put his head in Gamin’s mouth, but as typically happens, I ran out of space on my flashcard! :o(

  • well as a big box fish he has evolved to have his teeth on show at all times…which is nice

  • & Up jumped the boogie Model: D’Andre / Lighting: Dominic O’brien / Body Art & Styling: Alateia / Photography: Myself as well.

  • Tierazon Fractal One of two images featured on the redbubble home page, how good is that?

  • This image was taken using Fujichrome Velvia 50 and has not been altered. The Indian man in the image was actually saying that he could not smile because he did not have any teeth. I took another image with out his beautiful smile and sent it to him.

  • On DeviantART / ArtRage 2.5 and graphics tablet / Original Date: March 2008 T-Shirt Don’t ask me my name / Don’t ask me to look / Don’t ask who I am / Don’t ask me to stop Don’t ask why I rage / Don’t ask me for life / Don’t ask to be saved / Don’t ask to escape Don’t ask me to leave / Don’t ask me to forget / Don’t ask why I bleed / AND DON’T ASK HER NAME Don’t ask who she is / Don’t ask why she hurts / Don’t ask why I drew this / Don’t ask. Just. Don’t. And long after I drew this, I’m finally able to write down some of the description that was in my head as I painted her. / People say she’s abstract. This surprises me _ And something looked down and said “This is wrong”. And they were torn apart. And now she guards the gates of heaven for evermore, until her love is returned to her. And no angel may pass. On lighter screens, you can see the bottom edge of the wings quite starkly / – they’re supposed to nearly blend into the darkness (and my settings are right. I checked) / I discovered new ways to use ArtRage with this – the semi-transparent veils, for example, are thin lines of blur/soft palette knife. She’s waiting for you to die and try to go to heaven. Then she’ll tear your wings off and throw you back down to hell. As mentioned.. she’s a little irrational. /

  • Of the more than 300 species of shark found in Australian waters, there are only a couple of species that are known to attack humans. Yet 2009 will surely go down in the history books as having a record number of shark attacks. / / This summer alone it seemed like every week there was another person emerging from the water with bits missing. Sometimes twice a week. That’s if they were lucky enough to come out of the water at all. / / And even though you are more likely to die of a bee sting, there are now cries to increase the quota of shark fishing to cull the populations that have been living in our coastal waters for millions of years. / / I think it’s important for us all to respect that the moment we step off the land and into the sea, we are out of our depth and are no longer at the top of the food chain. / / I’m doing this shirt to present the lighter side of these primordial creatures and point out that they aren’t menacing. They’re just hungry. / / /

  • I love this one :) — Taken with: Canon 40D / Lens used: 2.8 100mm / Shutter speed: 1/250 / F number: 2.8 / ISO: 400

  • gotta watch out for those teddy bears… handrawn in Adobe illustrator

  • Sometimes the simplest objects can create intriguing results. This is a contemporary pencil case made from multiple strips of brightly coloured fabric. My eye was caught by the long vertical strips of interlocking teeth – and the fact that each strip ends in a metal tab. The sharp focus of the tabs in front was perfect to use depth of field to emphasise the fact that the rear tabs (literally only a centimetre away) were visible but in soft focus. I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D in dull light, using my favourite lens, a Sigma 18-125mm. Featured in CONTRASTING PERCEPTIONS, August 2009. 117-9265
