I remember watching my father use this typewriter when I was a kid and marvelling at it as it banged and dinged away. It’s a beautiful masterpiece of craftsmanship and history. The first in a series of fun vehicles with a mikoto spin. detail of grpahic:
this piece was inspired by an email asking for more or the fork off duo and the shirt by no frills art obsolete death by technology I did originally intend to have the little guy getting his revenge for being forked by devil girl but something in me left it this way. The is a lot of emotion in this piece as I’m sure many of you have felt like you have had you heart broken by a personified devil – I know I have (sigh and a tear) close up: / PS – Don’t worry, I will get round to making the revenge version called “fork you too” very soon :) Scotty The original T:
Mount mikoto This is part of a bigger design that I am slowly putting together. It reminds me of Uluru’s The Olgas that are in Kata Tjuta National Park, Northern Territory, Aus. However in this instance they are snow capped and of course smiling.

I’ve been thinking, does technology really improve people’s lives or does it make things worse? The concept of technology have worked for a short term but now i’m starting to think different. Maybe it is making worse of the human condition. Despite of all its benefits, there is a lot that we pay for, and yet we cannot live without it. Technology and its biproducts are bleeding us and our world dry, but maybe its not too late. As much as I enjoy illustrating, I’ve also been trying to retain my skills in Photoshop. This image was made with original photos from imageafter.com and sxc.hu . They were free so I might as well make the most of them. The images mainly consist of a statue, bike parts, engines, motors, microchips, motherboards, stone cracks and splatters.
Tried out a sketchy illustration style a little while ago, this was the result.

The White Queen-Rook’s Pawn / Artist: Sjem / Biography: Danny One of the White King’s great assets – even though he possesses a fallen Angel in his ranks was his belief that faith alone would not save his army and the art of both mechanoid and wizardry could always be relied upon to be great allies when administered carefully. / Hence the reason the king kept Universities that studied the mechanical and more unorthodox majical arts. / It was through these academies principled by the Queens Bishop that the flank engines were created… Due to the massive size of mechanoid monster that is the Steam City it is slow to prime and start and is restricted in it’s movements at first. To counter this a small army of Blasters were created. / Incredibly fast initially on take off they eventually maintain a much slower speed up the battlefield. / This sudden burst of speed can surprise the enemy and give the impression that the mother ship is capable of the same acceleration.
